It might be an unpopular opinion but Animal Kingdom is actually my favorite Disney park and you’ll never be able to change my mind 😂

There’s just something about it that feels different from the others. It’s a little slower, a little quieter, and not as chaotic. This is why I love it so much.

Pandora is unreal, especially at night. Flight of Passage alone could carry the whole park. And the safari is one of those rides I could do over and over again and not get tired of.

Also… the shows don’t get enough credit. Festival of the Lion King is so good every time.

I feel like people either love this park or skip over it, but it’s 100% one of my favorites.

Just say the magic words ✨🐭

We are all checked into Disneys Animal Kingdom lodge and heres what I have to say about it so far:

🦒 1. Real animals right outside your room
You can wake up and see giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife roaming the savanna. Even standard rooms have viewing areas around the resort, and savanna-view rooms take it to another level.

🌿 2. Immersive, peaceful vibe
It feels completely different from the rest of Disney. The African-inspired architecture, music, and landscaping make it feel like a true escape and is way more relaxing than most Disney resorts.

🔥 3. Incredible dining options
Some of the best food on Disney property is here:

* Boma - Flavors of Africa (buffet with tons of unique options)
* Jiko - The Cooking Place (signature dining, more upscale)
* Sanaa (famous for bread service + animal views)

🚍 4. Free Disney transportation
Complimentary buses take you to all the parks, including Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Magic Kingdom, and more. SOOOOO no need to worry about driving.

🏊‍♀️ 5. Amazing pool & activities
The pool area (Uzima Springs) is huge and great for relaxing. There are also cultural activities, nighttime storytelling, and animal viewing with guides.

👨‍👩‍👧 6. Great for a “resort day”
This is one of the few Disney resorts where you’ll actually want to spend time at the hotel instead of rushing to the parks.

✨ 7. Strong Disney theming without the chaos
You still get that Disney magic, but without the loud, busy feel of some of the value resorts.

We’re not just about the big, over-the-top trips over here. Some of our FAVORITE memories come from quick weekend escapes ✨ And one of our go-to spots? Red River Gorge 😍

Currently sailing on MSC World America 🌊🚢 and one of my FAVORITE things we’ve done so far was riding ATVs through San Juan, Puerto Rico 🤍

We saw so many animals, the prettiest tropical scenery, and just got to experience the island in such a fun way 🌿✨

San Juan is literally built around historic forts (which I thought was the coolest thing ever 😍). The most famous one, Castillo San Felipe del Morro, was built by the Spanish in the 1500s to protect the city from invasions. It sits right on the edge of the ocean with the most insane views 🌊

There’s also Castillo San Cristóbal, which is actually one of the largest forts built by Spain in the Americas and was designed to guard against land attacks. The whole area of Old San Juan is surrounded by massive stone walls that are over 400 years old 🤯

Walking through the city feels like stepping into history with the colorful buildings, blue cobblestone streets, and ocean views everywhere you look 💙

San Juan is a 10/10 must see… and as soon as we got back on the ship I called JT and told him we are moving there lol 😂
