Lucent Dreams is the vision of Sandie Griffin and Kim Torres, partners in life and creativity. We believe that anything is possible and that each of us can truly live the life we want. We live by our innermost wants and needs and resist the temptation to be ruled by fear, conventional wisdom, or the tyranny of the "shoulds and oughts". Kim left the corporate world several years ago, did a three-ye

ar stint in manual labor (the simplicity made her very happy) but now works full-time for Lucent Dreams, giving her plenty time for creativity and play. Sandie has recently transitioned from teaching and mentoring teens to life coaching -- same job, different clientele. She truly has the perspective and tools to help people change their lives. Together, our dream is to be completely debt-free with the smallest footprint possible. Ultimately we would like to travel the highways and byways, taking photos, meeting *real* people and possibly inspiring them to pursue the life they truly want; their best destiny.

I can offer any of these recent mashups (16 images), 12x12" on fine arts paper and framed, for $75 each. Each image is a unique composite of the photographic treasures that I've found while wandering Louisville and parts beyond. Each has been created to convey a story, to evoke emotion, and to bring pleasure to the eye. I would happily sell 2 for $125. We are busy here on the homestead with such trivialities as keeping our internet and electricity on. I gotta be real, this is the day-to-day of trying to live a different way. I believe that we will continue to grow in financial abundance as we work hard and stay true to who we are and the life we want to create. We have every other kind of abundance that I can imagine.

Since every dollar spent is a vote for what one values, we tried to get a little creative with the Ostara-Easter gifts for our kids. We used mason jars, cut up local newspaper and we got our candy from Trader Joe's instead of all the standard, commercialized high-fructose-corn-syrup faire. I think they turned out quite lovely with all their spring-y colors.
