The Whirling Tiger has announced it will vacate its iconic home at 1335 Story Avenue at the end of 2026. The historic building, famously known as the home of the legendary Butchertown Pub until 1998, has hit the market alongside an adjacent property for $2.25 million.

But the Tiger isn't leaving the neighborhood. Co-owners Mark Evans and Alley McDowell are teasing a move in early 2027 to a new, larger Butchertown "campus" closer to NuLu that will feature multiple "zones and vibes."
