"If you're looking for one of the best character dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, you have to check out Tusker House Restaurant.
Located inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, this buffet-style restaurant is themed after an African marketplace and has such a fun, vibrant atmosphere.
Here you'll meet Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey, all dressed in their safari outfits - which makes for some really unique character photos.
The food is all-you-care-to-enjoy and offers a mix of familiar favorites and African-inspired dishes, so there's something for both adventurous eaters and picky eaters.
It's available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it's 1 table-service credit per person on the Disney Dining Plan — making it a great value for a character meal.
One of the biggest perks? It's inside the park, so you don't have to leave Animal Kingdom to enjoy a sit-down meal and take a break from the heat.
If you're planning a Disney trip and want a fun character dining experience with great food and atmosphere, Tusker House is definitely one to consider.

📱 One of the most important Disney tips (that many people overlook)…

Before your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, take some time to get familiar with the My Disney Experience app.

It might not sound exciting… but it can make a HUGE difference in how smooth your trip feels.

Here’s why:

🎟 Everything is in the app
Park tickets, hotel reservations, dining plans, Lightning Lanes — it’s all right there.

⏰ You’ll use it constantly in the parks
Checking wait times, mobile ordering food, finding characters, navigating the park… it becomes your go-to tool all day.

🍽 Dining & planning
You’ll manage reservations, join waitlists, and adjust plans on the fly.

📍 Maps & directions
The GPS map helps you find rides, restaurants, and even the nearest restroom (which is a lifesaver with little ones).

💡 Why this matters BEFORE your trip
Trying to learn the app for the first time in the parks can be overwhelming — especially when you’re also managing kids, crowds, and a full schedule.

Spending just a little time getting familiar with it ahead of time can help you feel more confident, save time, and avoid unnecessary stress.

Trust me — this is one of those small things that makes a BIG difference. 💛

If you’re planning a Disney trip and want help learning the app or building a plan that works for your family, send me a message — I’d love to help you every step of the way! ✨

✨ A hidden gem for parents at Disney… Baby Care Centers 👶🍼✨

If you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a baby or toddler, this is something you’ll definitely want to know about.

Each park has a Baby Care Center, and honestly… they can be a total lifesaver during your day.

Inside, you’ll find:
🍼 Changing tables and quiet nursing areas
🪑 High chairs and a place to sit and feed your little one
❄️ Air conditioning (which is HUGE on hot Florida days)
🛒 Essentials available for purchase like diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food

It’s a calm, clean, and quiet space to take a break when your little one needs it — away from the crowds and noise of the parks.

You can find them in each park:
🏰 Magic Kingdom – near Crystal Palace
🌐 EPCOT – inside Odyssey Pavilion
🎬 Disney's Hollywood Studios – near Guest Relations
🦁 Disney's Animal Kingdom – near Creature Comforts

Little tips like this can make a BIG difference when traveling with kids. 💛

If you’re planning a Disney trip with little ones and want help making it as smooth and stress-free as possible, send me a message — I’d love to help! ✨

✨ The most important thing to do BEFORE you even book your Disney trip… ✨

Before you pick a resort, buy tickets, or start looking at dates for Walt Disney World Resort… take a step back and make a plan first.

This is something a lot of families skip — and it can make a HUGE difference in how much you enjoy your trip.

Here are a few things I always recommend thinking through first:

💰 Set a realistic budget
Know what you’re comfortable spending before you fall in love with a resort or dining experience. This helps avoid stress later.

🎯 List your “must-do’s”
Is it meeting characters? Riding the big rides? Watching fireworks? Certain restaurants? Write them down so your trip is built around what matters most to your family.

🤷‍♀️ List what you don’t care about
Not every family needs to do everything — and that’s okay! Skipping what doesn’t matter to you saves time, money, and energy.

⚖️ Decide your priorities
What matters more for your trip?
• Convenience (close to parks, easy transportation)
• Budget (more affordable resort, fewer extras)
• Experiences (dining, tours, special add-ons)

There’s no “right” answer — just what’s right for YOUR family.

😌 Think about your pace
Do you want a packed schedule from morning to night, or a more relaxed trip with breaks and downtime?

Taking time to plan these things BEFORE booking helps you create a trip that actually fits your family — instead of trying to make your family fit the trip.

That’s exactly what I help my clients do. 💛

If you’re thinking about a Disney vacation and don’t know where to start, send me a message — I’d love to help you build a plan that works for you from the very beginning.

✨ Want to take your Disney trip from fun… to unforgettable? ✨

One of the things many families don’t realize about Walt Disney World Resort is just how many “extra magic” experiences you can add to your trip. These aren’t required — but they can turn a great vacation into something truly special. 💫

Here are just a few favorites:

👑 Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Perfect for little princes and princesses — complete with costumes, hairstyling, and that magical reveal moment 🥹

🦒 Wild Africa Trek
A guided, behind-the-scenes safari experience where you get closer to the animals than ever before

🎟 VIP Tours
Skip the lines, get a private guide, and customize your entire park day (the ultimate splurge experience)

🍰 Dessert Parties
Enjoy sweets and reserved viewing for fireworks at parks like Magic Kingdom — no fighting the crowds for a good spot!

🎣 Resort activities & experiences
From fishing and horseback riding to campfires and movie nights, there’s so much to do outside the parks too

The best part? You can customize your trip to fit your family — whether you want to go all out or just pick one special experience to make it extra memorable. 💛

If you’re planning a Disney vacation and want help deciding what’s worth it (and what you can skip), send me a message — I’d love to help you create something truly magical! ✨

✨ One of the most overlooked parts of a Disney trip… the shows! ✨

When people plan their visit to Walt Disney World Resort, they usually focus on rides — but some of the best experiences aren’t rides at all.

Disney shows are truly top-tier entertainment. We’re talking Broadway-level performances, incredible music, and immersive storytelling.

One of my personal favorites is Festival of the Lion King — the energy, the performers, the music… it’s something you don’t want to miss. 🦁✨

And then you have shows like Mickey's PhilharMagic, which are perfect for families. It’s a fun 3D experience featuring classic Disney music and characters that kids and adults both love.

But here’s the part most people don’t think about…

These shows are also a perfect break from the heat and crowds. ☀️
Air conditioning, a place to sit down, and still getting an amazing Disney experience? Yes please.

Especially with little ones, planning a few shows into your day can make a huge difference in keeping everyone happy and recharged.

If you’re planning a Disney trip, don’t skip the shows — they might end up being some of your favorite memories. ❤️

If you want help building a Disney itinerary that balances rides, breaks, and experiences like this, send me a message — I’d love to help.

✨ A Disney tip many families don’t realize until it’s too late… ✨

When visiting Walt Disney World Resort, one of the best ways to avoid long ride waits isn’t waking up earlier… it’s staying later.

Many guests leave the parks right after the fireworks, but some of the shortest wait times of the day can actually happen during the last hour before closing.

That means you can often ride popular attractions like those in Magic Kingdom with much shorter lines while the crowds head for the exits.

Plus, the parks at night are absolutely beautiful — cooler temperatures, glowing lights, and a much calmer atmosphere. ✨

Of course, every family plans their Disney trip differently, and with little ones sometimes early nights are the way to go — and that’s totally okay!

But if your family can stay a little later one night, it can be one of the best ways to squeeze in a few extra rides with shorter waits.

If you’re planning a Disney trip and want more tips like this to help your park days run smoother, feel free to send me a message. I’d love to help you plan something magical! 🏰
