The more I see, explore and take in while traveling, the more I am realizing there is nothing else that allows me to experience life as intensely and openly. Each new place expands my mind, heart, soul and love for all that makes us unique and different. Traveling allows you to become so many different versions of yourself.

For a dream to come true you have to have a DREAM. You need to BELIEVE it can and will happen. Take a leap and CREATE it. Start doing things, no matter how big or small, that will help you to achieve your goals. You’ll find even if you don’t ACHIEVE the initial goal, you will accomplish more than you would have imagined you could. You will have taught yourself valuable lessons, learned and grown. By leaving your comfort zone behind and taking a leap of faith into something new, you find out who you are truly capable of becoming. What we lose in comfort, we gain in freedom. Hello 2018!

And suddenly it is a new year. A chance to look back and remember how far we have come in just one year - and the fun of planning forward in search of new goals, challenges and experiences.

{winter giving} It's been a pretty warm winter so far but Thursday Colorado finally got some snow, and it's feeling a bit more like Christmas.

This year I bought fleece blankets to keep in my car and give out as needed. Taking these pictures I noticed a few homeless people nearby. Parked close, and feeling the holiday spirit as I had just finished work and break officially started, I went to my car and got a couple blankets. They were so sweet and appreciative.

Simple things like that can make all the different for someone. It felt good to be able to make them smile, and be a little warmer, this holiday season.
