Touch and feel are essential to a good shoeing - No sharp edges on the shoe to cut the horse, and no sharp burrs on the clenches to slice a hand or finger.

Often, the simpler and more honest the approach to shoeing, the better. Without any interventions at all, this mare’s feet are nicely balanced. Shoeing at timely intervals is the keystone to sound shoeing.

Front hooves are balanced and glossy - 2 degree pads with silicon packing to correct her angles and bring her comfort.
