I bought this painting of Dolly a few years ago. Bright, colorful and full of personality just like her.

“Islands in the Stream” with Kenny Rogers has always been one of my all-time favorite songs. I remember singing it and dancing around to it when I was little..3 or 4 years old! In fact, it’s one of my oldest memories and I think it may have been my very first “favorite song.”

Dolly’s impact reached far beyond country music. She touched generations of people through her music, her kindness, her generosity and the way she always seemed to bring a little more joy into the world.

She was truly one of a kind.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 💕🎶
