We’re excited to partner with Big City Mountaineers to host our first youth & family-focused hike! 🌲

Join us at Spruce Mountain Trail in Larkspur, Colorado for a day of outdoor adventure, connection, and multi-generational recreation.

This hike is open to ages 12–18, and we’re excited to pilot an experience that could grow into expanded youth outdoor opportunities throughout the El Paso County community.

We’re excited to share that our organization has been nominated for a 2026 Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance Award for Outdoor Nonprofit!

Our Executive Director has also been nominated for Emerging Leader and Volunteer of the Year.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who submitted nominations. It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized for our work getting people outdoors and building community throughout the Pikes Peak Region.

This work wouldn’t happen without each of you who show up to our events, support our mission, and help make these experiences possible. And a huge thank-you to our outdoor leaders who continue to show up, build community, and create lasting memories.

Congratulations to all the other organizations, leaders, and influencers across the Pikes Peak Region who have been nominated! We’re honored to be celebrating alongside you.

A beautiful early-morning departure from Colorado Springs for our day trip to Fort Collins, where we discovered some of the area’s hidden gems! ✨

We had such a wonderful time making new connections, laughing, and learning alongside Lory State Park - Colorado Parks & Wildlife interpreter Alexa and the amazing volunteers on the Well Gulch Trail.

We also explored the CSU Trial Garden, which was absolutely beautiful with the flowers and plants in full bloom. 🌸🌱
