What a great morning in Larkspur, Colorado for our first Men's Only Hike at Spruce Mountain Trail! 🗻

It was a warm morning, but thankfully there was shade along parts of the trail. More importantly, we enjoyed great conversations, good company, and a chance to connect outdoors.

Thank you to our outdoor leader, Michael Grant, for leading today's hike and helping make it a success.

📣Registration is now open for the Colorado Outdoor Industry Leadership Summit (COILS) 2026.📣

COILS is a free three-day annual conference where professionals across Colorado’s outdoor industry come to learn, connect, and collaborate in an organic way that creates lasting relationships that strengthen and advance our collective industry.

Last year, many attandees gathered at the Estes Park and bonded over shared struggles and challenges the industry is facing. We identified the obstacles, but many of us left asking: “What’s next?”

In 2025, we named the problems; in 2026, we map the solutions. Our theme this year, Base Camp to Peak, is all about moving from observation to action.

Through focused and structured brainstorming, connection, and creative problem-solving, we will build the framework to sustain and grow our communities and advance our industry.

Come navigate that journey with us this year at COILS.

Mashari, Sid, and Debi joined a 3-mile Blue Moon Night Hike at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, exploring the trails under the light of the moon.

Throughout the hike, volunteer naturalist Ranger Rick made several stops to share the park’s history, tell stories and facts about the moon, and teach participants how to identify stars using both the naked eye and astronomy apps.

Thank you to Cheyenne Mountain State Park for hosting these wonderful community events that connect people with nature, learning, and each other. 🌕✨🥾

What a great afternoon spent with Keith and K-9 Bailey from the El Paso County Search and Rescue!

Thank you for coming out to help us learn more about Search and Rescue efforts in El Paso County and how the process works from the moment you call 911 to the time rescuers arrive, which could take anywhere from a couple of hours to 24 hours or more, depending on the situation.

If you didn’t already know, the visitor center at the summit of Pikes Peak has a safe room that can be accessed 24/7 in case of an emergency.

Search and Rescue services are provided at no charge, and officials encourage you to call as soon as an emergency arises or if you become lost, then stay put so rescuers can locate you more quickly.

A special thank you to Fire Station 19 for allowing us to use your community room to host this event.

Thank you COTREX for providing our giveaway prize! ✨
