Happy Anniversary to my Grandparents Betty & Carl Thompson. They eloped in Macon GA on this day in 1941 and that is what brought me to Macon many years later. Macon Merry-Downtown Macon GA Lodging is a passion project….I ❤️❤️❤️ Macon & my family! Betty & Carl have been gone for a long time but their memories are very alive and so is Macon. It is exciting to be a part of the revitalization of downtown.
