Maddie got to experience her first Ride for America in Madison today. We are grateful we live in a place where Memorial Day - and how to observe it - is understood. We believe people should enjoy cookouts, pool days and trips to the beach. These activities symbolize the way of life those whose sacrifice we remember were fighting to protect. We also believe everyone's day should start with remembering and honoring that sacrifice, and end with never having forgotten that for many, there is nothing "happy" about Memorial Day.
