We had an excellent training this week on Colorado Dude and Guest Ranches with the Colorado Dude and Guest Ranch Association! We are so thankful for those that are willing to teach, train, and work travel agents.

At Saddle Sojourn Travel, we are here to help connect the Guest Ranches with clients, but also with travel other agents who may not have had the amazing experience of a ranch vacation. Well, it doesn’t get more Arizona than the Kay El Bar Guest Ranch — we’re still feeling the love and nostalgia (and shaking off the dust) from our stay last week at such a special place! Prepping for a horseback riding vacation can look different for everybody and every location!

My current trip prep is taking western lessons for the first time in my 40+ years after riding since I was 8. I’ve always ridden English, but I want to look good and feel comfortable in a western saddle for my upcoming guest ranch vacations. Ms. Fancy and Alexa at are helping me get there!
