Anyone know what this is or have you never seen one before? 🧐 I was at a tack sale today where there was a similar one and I heard so many people ask “what is that?” I’ve had other people ask the same question before on trips!

Here’s a hint: We used to have to use them all the time about 35 years ago before there were zippers and laces in boots.

Hint #2: This one was found at Blackwater Creek Lodge & Guest Ranch but I’ve also seen them at Kay El Bar Guest Ranch and Tucson, Arizona Dude Ranch !!

a rainy morning at the ranch {hopefully} calls for a much deserved rest day for the incredible horses and staff at as they gear up for a busy season.
