NOTICE TO RESIDENT AND NON-RESIDENT HUNTERS
I want to provide an important update regarding operations, booking policies, and expectations for Wild Eyez Outfitters moving forward.
1. State Regulation Changes
Recent changes at the state level—specifically the Outfitter/Guide registration and C.O.R. system—have significantly impacted how far in advance we can responsibly book hunts.
2. Previous Booking Policy (Now Discontinued)
Historically, we allowed bookings up to three (3) years in advance. If a client did not draw, we honored the original pricing regardless of when the tag was eventually drawn or if the hunt was changed.
This policy is no longer sustainable under current regulations and conditions.
3. Commitment to Quality
Our priority has always been our clients, the wildlife resource, and the communities we operate in. To maintain that standard, we limit bookings to no more than three (3) clients per season, per species, per weapon class.
4. Booking Backlog & Overbooking
Due to past policies, we have carried a backlog of clients pending draw results. At times, we slightly overbooked to offset expected non-draws.
Moving forward, this practice will be discontinued.
5. New Booking Policy
If you are at or above the generally predicted draw line—based on historical data and refined statistical analysis—we will:
Not overbook
Not carry forward pricing into future years
All bookings will reflect current conditions and costs.
6. Manti-La Sal LE Elk Hunts
Our Mature Bull Limited Entry Elk hunts on the Manti-La Sal National Forest are consistently in high demand and typically Book Full.
7. Current Availability (2026)
We are currently approximately 50% booked for the 2026 season.
8. Communication Limitations
From July forward, we are often in the field for extended periods with limited or no communication availability.
9. Booking Deadlines & Requirements
Clients must know their Utah DWR hunt unit relative to forest boundaries prior to booking.
For boundary and permitting guidance, refer to Utah Outfitters and Guides Association.
Waiting to book is strongly discouraged.
We cannot guarantee availability after July 1 of any given year, regardless of prior discussions.
Contract Exception:
If you have a signed contract, your hunt is secured through the year you draw.
10. Fee Adjustments
Operational fees passed on to clients will not exceed 50% of any annual increase in operating costs.
This notice is intended to ensure ethical, transparent, and sustainable business practices. It should be considered a public and legally binding statement of policy.
