Support Palumbo, Bailey and Ricci
Marco Island does not need campaign promises alone. It needs City Councilors with demonstrated experience, a record of public service, and the ability to make informed decisions.
That is why I am supporting Darrin Palumbo, Jason Bailey and Chris Ricci.
Darrin Palumbo has demonstrated leadership as a member of City Council and its current Chair by listening to the community and making measured decisions that are best for the community. Jason Bailey has devoted substantial time to Marco Island as Chair of the Planning Board, dealing directly with the planning, zoning and development issues that will shape our community. Chris Ricci has served on important city advisory committees, including the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee and the Audit Advisory Committee, contributing his professional background in business, law and engineering.
What distinguishes these candidates is their strong record of service. They have invested their time, experience and expertise in Marco Island. They understand that City Council decisions should be based on facts, sound analysis and the long-term interests of the community.
The decisions made by the next City Council will have lasting consequences for Marco Island. This is not the time for on-the-job training. It is the time to elect individuals who are willing and prepared to do the work.
I encourage Marco Island voters to carefully consider the records and qualifications of Darrin Palumbo, Jason Bailey and Chris Ricci when casting their three City Council votes. Experience matters. Service matters. And demonstrated commitment matters.
Marco Island has been part of my life for nearly 40 years. I was born and raised here, spent some time away, and always hoped I would have the chance.
