We would like to highlight the groms of the Bear Gromduro Series who showed up in huge numbers at the Nevada City Enduro this year.

This was officially our biggest turnout of groms at an enduro race yet, and watching so many young riders out on course charging stages, cheering each other on, and having a blast all weekend was one of the best parts of the event.

From first-time racers to kids already ripping faster than half the adults, the future of mountain biking is looking pretty good right now.

One of the coolest things about the weekend was seeing the support from families, teammates, volunteers, and other racers all around the course. The energy the groms brought to the event was impossible to miss.

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and supporters who continue helping these young riders get to the start line and build confidence on the bike. And thank you to .cycles.co who believes in the future and helped us build the Gromduro Series into what it is today!

We’re excited to keep growing the Bear Gromduro Series and creating more opportunities for the next generation of riders to get out there, race hard, and have fun doing it.

There is one more race in the Bear Gromduro Series! See you all at Mills Peak!

BASP is BACK for 2026!!

Last year for 2025 BASP brought Green Day back to everyone’s attention. (You may have noticed they even got a spot in the Superbowl. That was because of us.)

This year, we are bringing the 80’s back to the bay area! That means aggressively big hair, loose fitting leg warmers, and neon everything is back! (We do realize for some of you 50+ men never left the 80’s.. We respect that!)

Last year you told us you didn’t get enough BASP after just 5 races. So this year BASP is going radical and bringing you 8 races across 6 different venues because like Rick Astley, we are never going to give you up, and we are never going to let you down.

We are also bringing back some classic venues to the BASP series that reminds us all of the good ol’ days just like that one Bon Jovi song that everyone else in the family can’t stand anymore.. (They just had to be there!)

We are kicking the cyclocross season off in Berkeley with the Shoreline Shredder on September 20th. Despite all the fear of cross riders exposing toxic fumes at the old garbage dump, the City of Berkeley is excited to welcome us back to race on their little Island in the bay!

Follow and on Instagram to stay in the loop all season long.

Enter the grid at the brand new BASP landing page linked in the bio to find more about the BASP races in this year's BASP schedule!

BASP!

Final Stage: Scotts Flat Trail

Back with capturing the action on the bike and behind the lens.

This is the grand finale. Dropping all the way back down to Scotts Flat Lake, it’s a long, free flowing descent that demands focus and grit from top to bottom.

This is the stage where you can either gain the most time or lose the most time.

We also heard somewhere that the finish line will be at the end of the trail this year?

Don’t miss out on one of the most fun enduro races we have here in California!

What Makes Marin Off-Road So Special?

It’s not just another bike ride.
It’s not just another timed event.

Marin Off-Road takes place in the legendary Marin Headlands. Where rugged coastal cliffs meet ridgelines looking over the bay and the Pacific Ocean.

From the moment you roll out of Rodeo Beach, you know you’re in for something special. With some of the most scenic riding in California, high percentage of dirt on each route, and singletrack that will keep you smiling!

And every single route finishes on top of Hawk Hill delivering a birds eye view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline, and the Pacific beyond. You might say it’s one of the most gorgeous finish lines in all of cycling!

But what truly makes Marin Off-Road special isn’t just the scenery.

It’s the feeling.

The grind up a climb with nothing but wind and ocean around you.
The silence of the ridgelines.
The moment you reach the summit and realize you just rode through one of the most iconic landscapes in California.

It’s the kind of place that reminds you why you ride in the first place.

What makes the Nevada City Enduro so special isn’t really the race itself. It’s the heart of the community behind it.

Before the new trail network took shape, there was already a strong group of riders in Nevada City who loved to ride and loved the place they call home. With Forest Service land right outside of town, the potential was always there. What was missing was a shared push to turn that potential into something lasting.

The Bicyclists of Nevada County saw that opportunity. What they built wasn’t just a network of trails. They built a foundation for the riding community to be a part of, be proud of, and grow on. These trails weren’t shaped by a small crew working alone. They were built by the community. Locals showed up. Families showed up. Riders from across California drove in for trail days, grabbed tools, and got to work.

The trails that BONC built are more than just a local trail network, they are the result of a shared effort that continues to bring us together.

The Nevada City Enduro is proof of what can happen when a community rolls up its sleeves and commits to something bigger than itself. The race isn’t just an event. It’s a celebration of volunteer hours, cooperation, and pride. Riders travel from all over California not only because the trails are fun and well built, but because they can feel the difference. They’re riding trails shaped by the hands of people who care deeply about this place.

In the end, the Nevada City Enduro isn’t just about racing. It’s about a community that came together to build something meaningful, something lasting, and something that continues to bring people together year after year.

What makes the Exchequer Extravaganza special?

Honestly, it’s just a really good weekend.

Yes, there’s racing. A cross-country on Saturday. An enduro on Sunday. But what makes Exchequer different is that it doesn’t feel rushed or overly serious. It feels like a mountain bike getaway with your crew.

You roll into camp. Tents go up. Bikes come off the rack. Everyone’s spinning around, pre-riding, checking out lines, talking about which stages they’re excited for. The wildflowers are usually popping this time of year, the lake is in the background, and the whole park just feels alive.

Saturday’s Off-Road race is fast, fun, and flowy in all the right places. You climb together, spread out a bit, then get to enjoy one of the most talked-about downhills in the park. It’s the kind of course where you finish a lap already thinking about the next one.

Sunday’s Enduro brings a totally different energy. Multiple stages. Different styles of trail. A mix of flow, tech, and speed that keeps things interesting all day. You’re racing the clock, but you’re also hanging out between stages, cheering on your friends, and sessioning sections in your head for next year.

And the best part? You don’t have to be a pro to belong here.

We’ve got categories from groms to seasoned racers. E-Bike categories for both days. Whether you’re chasing a podium or just want an excuse to ride new trails with number plates on, there’s a place for you.

Then there’s everything around the racing.
Camping with your friends. Saturday night social. Kids riding around the pits. People grilling food. Stories from the day getting a little better each time they’re told. It feels less like a race and more like a small mountain bike festival.

The trails themselves are built by the Exchequer Riders Club, which gives the whole weekend a grassroots feel. You’re not just showing up to an event. You’re riding something the local community cares about and has poured time into.

Exchequer is where you kick off the season, see people you haven’t seen all winter, and remember why you love mountain biking in the first place.

It’s racing, yes.

But more than that, it’s just a really fun place to spend the weekend!
