Happy Pride Month, everyone! This year Pride Marfa is happening September 11-13, but fear not! We’re celebrating Pride Month on June 14 with a fundraiser event at Capri. There will be performances by legendary locals, incredible prizes through our raffle, and a lot of snappy dressers. Feel free to dress up or just spectate. Follow for more updates! We can’t wait to see you!!

My highest compliments to for capturing the moments between licks for these precious family photos. This was the most chaotic 30 minutes of our life, but you wouldn’t know it from the pics. Go book your session with Des!

The last pic is going on my nightstand.

Dear friends and neighbors, it’s nearly time for the 3rd annual Armed & Generous!!! The event of the season where we fundraise for scholarships for Marfa grads in college!! Last year we raised $11k!!!!!!!!!!! Can we beat it??? One way to find out, and that’s to fork it over!💰💰💰 Cash, check, PayPal and Venmo accepted (or donate early through the link in the bio).

If you’ve been, you know how fun this is. If you haven’t, it’s time to find out! We’ve got lots of great match-ups, surprises up our sleeves, and great news to share! Plus we’re going to take a moment to practice group visualization for something we really want to happen. Don’t miss it!!!!!

Phil and I took Thursday to visit the border in Big Bend NP. The only word we have to describe it is indescribable. Ok, and hot. This place is in my heart forever. No wall.

The second annual Arm Wrestling competition supporting is happening May 4 at Planet Marfa. That’s like, soon. This feat of strength for a good cause will bring eternal glory to two lucky townsfolk. We look forward to seeing you all there, and May the fourth be with you.

I’ll be logging out of all of my Meta apps for the next week (would happily make it permanent but I gotta keep sharing important info about the public school in Marfa 💜).

I wanted to leave on a note of gratitude for the people who have worked to make progress towards the equality of all people. We will need them, and need to be them, now more than ever.
