Our Alaskan cruise on the Disney Magic was just that: MAGICAL! We sailed to Dawes glacier, rode the White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway, whale watched in Icy Strait Point, and watched the iconic lumberjack show in Ketchikan! I think we hit a record for the most birthdays on board…Parker’s 10th birthday and my mom’s and Neal’s birthdays were all during our sailing, and we celebrated my dad’s birthday, which was a couple of days after the cruise ended! We had the best stateroom host and dining room servers, and they made everything so wonderful for us! The ship was awesome, and we enjoyed getting to explore so many activities, from the Oceaneer’s Club for the boys, FIFA World Cup watch parties, adults-only game shows and dueling piano shows, to bingo and karaoke! The scenic views from the ship and while at port were absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed getting to explore a part of the U.S. and the world that we have never visited. It was amazing to do that with all of the amenities and comforts of a Disney cruise! If Alaska is on your wish list, take the trip! These are separately ticketed events with reduced capacity, festive entertainment offerings, character meet and greets in their holiday outfits, and more! The wait is almost over! Tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party go on sale next Tuesday, May 5th, for guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel! This is a separately ticketed event on select nights from August 7th through October 31st at Magic Kingdom from 7pm until midnight. So many frightfully fun experiences are available during the event, including exclusive entertainment (my favorites are the Boo to You parade and Halloween fireworks show), Halloween-themed food and beverages, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and character greetings. You can also trick-or-treat throughout the park! Rides are also open during the event, with lower wait times than usual.
