🚢 Think River Cruising Is Too Expensive? I Used to Think So Too.

I think a lot of people assume, or have simply heard, that river cruising is an expensive way to travel. Honestly, I used to be one of those people.

But the more I’ve learned about river cruising, the more I’ve realized it’s not always about the price... it’s about what’s included in that price.

Take this Viking itinerary along the famous Rhine River in Europe, for example.

For March 2027, an 8-day journey for two passengers is currently priced at $5,596 total for an interior stateroom. That works out to $2,798 per person and includes:
