Again all is my opinion if you do not know speak or understand Spanish use a translator or be like me and just go and figure it out. Lol
I stayed at Barceló Guatemala City Hotel great hotel at a reasonable price. In the city of Guatemala. Provided shuttle services to and from airport make sure to call and reserves your spot. It has a sports bar, buffet, mini bar and Japanese restaurant gift shop and beautiful pool. Customer services was good they was able to help me with my small issues. I use RelaxiCab to get me to and from Panajachel and let me tell you price is great , service and communication is excellent Eduardo spoke English and shared alot of history about Guatemala with me. Alex my other driver was great I took a tuk tuk from Reserva Natural Atitlán and was wondering in the city he was able to find my location and pick me up. He spoke no English but let me pick the music. They are willing to stop for snack, bathroom break and stretches long ride from Guatemala City long ride.. I used uber to get me to Antigua Hobbitenango reasonable priced.
Reserva Natural Atitlán this more of an extreme options attraction. I did cable bike. They also have ultra and extreme zip line, Natural trails and a beautiful butterfly attraction. If you are out of shape of borderline out of shape do not do this. I am borderline and I was struggling. Lol. NEVER made it to the lake hike was too much. The food was decent and priced reasonable.

Hobbitenango price was good let me tell you pay for the transportation up and back. Due to me not knowing spanish I almost got stuck in the mountain. This is an extra 45 q for transportation I waited about 45 minutes for the truck up the hill. Did the giat swing walked around took pictures missedn the giant hand cause it was far out was ready to leave so I add a pic off internet.

While in Guatemala City I walked to the mall 20 minutes from hotel. It was decently safe but I would not walk around Guatemala City to much alone. Next to my hotel was McDonald's, pizza hut ,KFC like 5 minute walk or less away.

Overall for a quick getaway this was a excellent me-cation did not over do it and the city was nice. I would recommend staying in Antigua about 1 hr ride from airport lower crime rate beautiful boutique hotels and not to touristy.

3 day cruise to Bahamas on Carnival Conquest

First cruise experience my opinion: First a big thanks to the 14 people that allowed me to book and the 17 that I wa able to experience this cruise with. We stayed one night in Miami at Comfort Suites Miami Airport North. Hotel was nice relaxing. They provided pick up service from airport and provided transportation to port. They are not handicapped accessible for mobile wheelchairs.

DOCUMENTATION PASSPORT BOOK OR CARD, , BIRTH CERTIFICATE (can be a copy) make sure you have required documentation. MORE OPTIONS ARE ON HUB.

CARNIVAL CRUISE. EVERYONE DOWNLOAD AND USE THE APP. I was able to check everyone in at least week prior to getting on cruise probably cam do sooner. They all had cash accounts (keep in mind if two people is on one cash account they share funds). By using the app you can chat with each other on the boat, see the schedule of what is happening on the boat and plan out your day. Also you have to use it to deboard the boat. Rooms was small but that is typical on a cruise and you really are in there to sleep. FOOD OPTIONS are plenty you can do quick meals, buffet or nice table service eating.

Excursions with a large group we all went in separate groups. You can book excursions through carnival app or pay when you get off boat. Book with carnival that way you know what you are doing just find one when you get off of good for a person who is just going with the flow.

DEBOARD PROCESS best way to say and organize mess give your self an afternoon flight that way you are not rushing to airport. You can have carnival take you to airport or take other options. You can check in luggage amd sit outside door night before and get it when you get off boat or keep luggage with you. BE PATIENT..

MUST IMPORTANT USE THE CARNIVAL HUB APP.
Over all great time you do not have to spend alot of extra money unless you want to, they have a casino also.
Again my opinion my cons to many people in one small location. . The time limit off the boat is a no for me. This is more for a younger crowd or I am just to old for this one. One customer service counter and 2 kiosk was not enough for the amount of people on boat. I spent 1.5 and in line because I lost my key card.
