Vacation memories! Sept 2015🏝️

I’m always telling people Grand Cayman + Jamaica is one of my favorite itineraries for adults or adventurers. This was about 10 years ago and it was one of the most fun vacations ever.

In Grand Cayman we did the big combo tour with the turtles, stingrays and visiting Hell. Stingray Bay is still one of my favorites!

In Jamaica we did Dunn’s River Climbing Waterfalls and Cliff jumping at Blue Hole. This was before cruise ships were going to Blue Hole, so it was a completely different experience πŸ˜‚ We walked down dirt paths, no life jackets, and a bunch of young guys were basically just showing you where to jump.

It’s definitely much more built up now with sidewalks, life jackets and more safety features, which is probably a good thing πŸ˜‚

This was such a fun trip. I would do this itinerary again in a heartbeat!

It’s time for a little break! I’m heading to Barcelona, Spain for a quick parents-only getaway! ❀️

Hi! It’s been a BUSY week over here with so many exciting cruise updates, especially for Texas!

Texas News: Carnival opened the new Tropicale for bookings and Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber was released for bookings.

My totally unofficial opinion:

🚒 Best ship? Tropicale.
🌴 Best itineraries? Hands down, Beachcomber.

These are some of the most exciting Gulf Coast cruise options we’ve had in over a decade! If I was traveling with adults, I would 100% book Beachcomber. All the live music sounds so fun, and there are a ton of complimentary fast-casual dining options too.

With kids? Can't miss the Carnival Waterwork. I've already got my family booked for the sister ship, the Festivale for a Port Canaveral sailing. That's my endorsement. You know I'm pretty Loyal to Royal with kids but we are trying out a 5-night sailing to Half Moon Caye, Celebration Key, and Nassau (skip).

Don't forget those new Disney Cruise Line dates opened this week, too!

I’ve also had meetings this week with Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, Hilton Resorts (my travel list got MUCH longer after that call πŸ˜‚), Sandals & Beaches, and Margaritaville at Sea.

Then new Disney promotions dropped for 2027, Universal has a GREAT BOGO ticket offer, and there are just so many travel promotions happening right now.

What’s driving me crazy? πŸ˜‚

Carnival loyalty offers are really good right now. Disney Cruise Line has some great last-minute rates on the Halloween on the High Seas sailings. And MSC has FANTASTIC rates.

If I lived driving distance from a Florida cruise port, I probably would have booked 2-3 short cruises this week. πŸ˜‚

The prices are SO good right now for Fall 2026 and Early 2027. Even Early 2028.

It is SO beautiful there. We spent basically the entire trip outside enjoying the sunshine, views, and water. πŸŒ΄β˜€οΈπŸŒŠ

And if you’re a cruiser, St. Kitts & Nevis can be a fun port day, too!

You can take the ferry over to Nevis, book a beach club day, or hop on a catamaran for snorkeling. There are lots of ways to spend the day!

Nevis is definitely one of those places that makes you want to go back. πŸ’™
