I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately about passports. A passport that has an expiration date within 6 months of travel date is not valid. If your passport expires in September but you have a trip in June that requires a passport, it is essentially expired because you will not be able to use it.

A good rule of thumb is to look at your expiration date as being 6 months prior to the date on the passport!

Most of my fellow agents charges a research fee and adds a fee to the trip ! I have never charged a research fee and most of the time never add a fee. I take what the vendor pays me and hope that I will have a returning client. However starting in 2020, if you book with me and have to cancel. I will charge a $25 cancellation fee before I cancel the reservation. I put a lot of time and research into finding and booking trips. I 100% understand that life happens and cancellations are a part of the job. It does get a little frustrating when I have put in time, sometimes hours and then theres a cancellation and Iam not accommodated for none of it . I think this is only fair! I do have clients that has just done this anyway to show appreciation for the work I have done. Thank you to them and all my clients! I appreciate each and every one!

When I first became a travel agent , my goal was to book enough trips to have bookings for every month. Looking at my calendar, i have bookings for September, October,November, December and just made one for January 🤗
The ultimate goal is to make enough commission to get my own IATA card and not have to work up under my company’s. Thank you to anyone who has ever supported me! I’ve booked trips to London , Paris, Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun, DR and more. I planned a whole wedding and booked and kept up with over 30 guest’s travel plans as well! The best part is, I do all the work and the travel vendor pays me! There’s a whole big 🌎 out there!
