Hi. I figured it is time to introduce myself. I am the Clear Lake Food Guy. I love to eat, I live in and love Clear Lake, IA, and I love to share good food with friends. This is just a way for me to expand my friends list! I come from a long line of restaraunt owners and workers, and have been fortunate enough to have eaten food all over this country. My goal is to share with the folks who live or visit Clear Lake with honest reviews of local food...the best dishes, the best service, the best beverages...and do it in a positive way. In our world, it seems like everything is so inflammatory. As a business when you do get a review, it is written not as honest feedback with the intention of helping the business improve. Instead it is a stick poked into the belly of the bear. Or, your good customers wont really be honest because they dont want to hurt your feelings. I am ok with hurting your feelings. Lovingly 😉 because I really have a desire to see the Clear Lake area food scene get better!
I also am going to remain 100% anonymous. The only way this works is to have 100% trust from the consumer, and to have that, there needs to be ZERO agenda. For that reason I am going to stay 100% anonymous. If something is GREAT, bad or somewhere in between I will say so freely, because even if I like the restaraunts or the people that run or work in them, if I am anonymous, I can freely give my feedback.

I am a regular dude. I have a family. A job. Responsibilities. But I have always wanted to do this. So I am doing it. WE are doing it.
