We finally have an answer for y’all!

The 17th Annual Medicine Park Flute Festival is coming October 2-4, 2026!

Spend the weekend in Medicine Park enjoying the beautiful sounds of Native American flute music.

Flute performances will take place Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM at Hitchin’ Post Park, with an informal flute jam at Bath Lake Island Saturday evening at 6:00 PM.

Vendors will begin setting up Friday at 3:00 PM and will be available throughout the weekend.

Coordinators will be releasing a schedule soon for artists playing.

This year, Travis Komahcheet is helping spearhead the festival effort, coordinating performers and vendors and helping promote the event. Thank you Travis for your efforts to keep this annual festival going.

Come for the music, stay for the scenery, food, shops, and small-town Medicine Park atmosphere.

Plan your next cool-weather visit to Medicine Park and check this one off your bucket list.

Hike it, bike it, or drive to the top of Mount Scott. Once you’re up there, the 360-degree panoramic views might surprise you. Then head back down to Medicine Park for a good meal, a little exploring, or a place to stay.

Trout season is coming back to Medicine Park November 1.

The water will be stocked, and we’re hoping those cooler temperatures roll in right on time to help keep the trout healthy and safe throughout the season.

And this year, we’ve got something new for you.

Catch a trout during the 2026-2027 season, snap a picture, and bring your photo to Medicine Park Town Hall to get your FREE Medicine Park Trout Club sticker, courtesy of the Town of Medicine Park.

We appreciate the fishermen and women who make Medicine Park part of their trout season tradition, whether you’ve been coming for years or this will be your first time casting a line here.

If you’re hitting the water early, town has you covered. Joe Mountain is an early-morning breakfast favorite, and you can grab coffee and drinks from Mrs. Chadwick’s Bakery or Pete’s Uncommon Garden before heading out.

Then, once you’ve had enough fishing for the day, stick around for lunch. Medicine Park has plenty of great places to eat, and one thing you can almost always count on is The Old Plantation being open and ready to feed you.

Cast. Reel. Repeat.
