Forgot the sunscreen? Need some medicine? Ran out of diapers or left a toiletry sitting on the bathroom counter?

You can find a surprisingly good selection of everyday essentials onboard Disney Cruise Line ships.

It’s nice to know that forgetting one little thing doesn’t have to turn into a vacation emergency! 🚨

Just a reminder that all shops onboard are closed while the ship is in port.

🏰DISNEYLAND PRO TIP

🚝You can still ride in the front of the Disneyland Monorail.

When you get to the station go to the front of the train and ask the cast member if you can ride in front.
It's one of the best ways to ride and most kids favorite experience.

FYI: There is a limit of 4 people and it is up to the discretion of the cast members. They do not always allow for front riders.

Another family is off on a 4-night sailing aboard the Disney Wish.

This is quickly turning into an annual tradition. Last year they sailed with myself and my 2 daughters on the Disney Magic.

❤️When a Once-in-a-Lifetime trip turns into an annual tradition.

Several years ago I was contacted about a family’s “Once in a Lifetime” trip to Walt Disney World. They had planned on going for their twin son’s birthday in 2020 but that was derailed 🙁.

Now it was 2024 and they wanted to take the trip before their boys were “too old”. As mom works in education they needed to go in summer.

We planned their first trip for August 2025. And now in 2026 we just booked their 3rd trip for next August with their mom/grandma.

It’s never too early or late to book the trip.

On Disney Fantasy, tucked in behind the main pools and Aquaduck there is the AquaLab. It’s not readily visible and lots of families miss it.
It’s a great place to let kids run around, play in the water and stay out of the sun.

There’s seating and some shade and it’s often missed because of its location.

The "K" Family is going to have an amazing time next summer with their children and grandchildren at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Midship Detective Agency is a shipwide game/scavenger hunt aboard Disney Cruise Line.

Exclusive to the Disney Dream and Fantasy you go around the ship searching for clues to solve a case.

There are three cases available ranging from easy to hard.
Each takes 30-90 minutes and is fun for the entire family.
It's a great way to get some energy out of the kids too because you're traveling around the entire ship.

This super fun activity is not prominently advertised online or onboard but it's easy to find with stations on Decks 2 and 5. However if you don't know about it you'd probably miss it.

Just another reason to have a travel advisor (like me) help you plan your trip.

Then you need to head to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort where you can watch Happily Ever After complete with streamed music.

Grab your 🍦Pineapple Dole Whip on the beach to watch.
and find a comfy spot

Bonus: Most evenings before and/or after the fireworks you can watch the Electrical Water Pagent. This has been going since 1971 and features lit floats and music.
