‼️Disney broke BIG NEWS today‼️

Carousel of Progress is headed for a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow with its biggest overhaul update in the history of the attraction!✨ The update will honor Walt Disney’s original vision but also bring the attraction into new decades.

It will close July 6, 2026 and reopen in early 2027.

Share in the comments how feel about the update?

For me, it’s bittersweet, the attraction brings so much nostalgia and is always a must do for my family! I’m sad we won’t see it as is one last time, but hope Disney does the update well!

Don’t worry, “There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” isn’t going anywhere!🎶🎵

My Star Wars obsessed 7 year old came in our room this morning, fully dressed in a Star Wars outfit at 5:30 AM and announced, “Happy Star Wars Day!! Aren’t you excited?!” He brings a new level of excitement to “May the 4th” and maybe a little disappointment it’s not a true holiday. He fully embraces making it one tho!☺️
