Bubble Wands and Pixie Dust Hi! I’m Christy! I am a Disney lover and decided I would share some of my knowledge with you. My name is Christy. I love traveling!

Star Wars lovers need to stop in Oga’s Cantina on their Hollywood Studios park day. Cool off with some fun concoctions while DJ R-3X spins some tunes. Reservations are recommended but you may be able to snag a spot as a walk up on the day of your visit. Know that the cantina has few seats and most availability is standing.

At $69 per adult, $43 per child, plus tax and gratuity, Story Book Dining at Artist Point is not budget friendly. However, being able to meet Snow White, Grumpy, D***y and the Evil Queen makes this a must try at least once. The decor and theming are beautiful and the overall atmosphere is great fun for the whole family. Plenty of time to interact with the characters and not feel rushed. Picky eaters (like myself) will find this to be a bit more challenging. Dinner is a prix fixe menu with few options but if you see something available on the kids menu, you can always ask for a substitution. Artist Point is located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Make your reservations early as this is another very popular dining location!

There is nothing quite like being Disney tired! Make sure to take some rest days! You’re gonna want to do it all and see it all but trust me…include days of rest! Visit Disney Springs, head to a water park or do some resort hopping. Your feet, body and mind will thank you!

Rivers of Light was a nighttime show at Animal Kingdom. It was only around for a few years, shutting down when Covid closed the parks. Sadly, for me, it never returned. I really enjoyed this show but understand that a lot of guests did not. What are your thoughts?

I’m sure this will be an unpopular opinion. The Polite Pig is not very good. Ya’ll, I’m from Kansas City!!! The Polite Pig is a barbecue restaurant located in Disney Springs. I hear amazing things about the food and everyone seems to enjoy it. I love BBQ and was super excited to give it a try. Perhaps they were having an off day but we found our food to be less than appetizing. The meat was tough, and the flavor just wasn’t there. The waffle fries were great but the rest fell short. Again, I’m from Kansas City and very much may be spoiled by our delicious BBQ. We loved the outdoor seating and being able to people watch while we ate. Maybe I’ll give it another shot one day but it won’t be anytime soon. I will always stand by the idea that you should go try it yourself. We all have different tastes and you very well may love it! Like I said, maybe it was just an off day.

Best animatronic at Disney World! Do not miss Na’vi River Journey in Animal Kingdom! It doesn’t always get the love it deserves. One of my all time favorites. Beautiful and peaceful!

Character meals are expensive but, pro tip, if you go for breakfast they are slightly cheaper! 1900 Park Fare, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian, is one of the best! The food is great, characters interactive, the atmosphere is charming and the strawberry soup is incredible! Be sure to make reservations early as this is a very popular restaurant!
