Busy weekend on the water with some great fish and great people! First coho of the season hit the deck and some of the freshest, fiestiest kings you could ask for tested our drags and hook strength lol … over the past 3 days we definitely lost more crazy fish than we landed but it made the ones we caught that much more of a triumph. Thank you to everyone who came out this week!

A little rest up today as the lake/winds hit the reset button out there … can’t wait to see what this week brings!

Next level achieved ✅ … Any day you’re holding a steelhead is a great day and today was a GREAT day with this crew!

These crazy fish did not make it easy on us, we definitely lost as many as we landed but we couldn’t have asked for a better day all around. Miss Sophia even got to weigh in her catch in Sonny's Fishing Center & RV Supplies tournament. As always, thanks for coming out guys!

The big shiny silver things are here 🦈… A couple of pretty toasty 🥵 days on the water with these crews, but they got it done! We definitely put the work in to find them and lost a few along the way, but these fish made it worth the wait.

August is filling up but still plenty of week days in September available. It will only get better from here out!

I was absolutely honored to do a very special (surprise) birthday trip and sunset cruise yesterday, for one of the hardest working and most genuine ladies I know. Brenda was probably the first person I met when I moved to this area and over the years as I’ve frequented both of her restaurants. Every time I’ve seen her she’s been working. It was such a pleasure to reverse rolls for a day (orchestrated by her friend and another hard working co-worker) in the “no work” zone for her birthday!

Her birthday fish, first Lake Ontario lake trout weighed in at just under 19 #’s! It gave her a heck of a fight, but both ladies boasted 100% landing rate for the trip! Congratulations and Happiest of Birthdays Brenda and thank you Loretta for putting this day together! 🥰

If you’re in the area, stop in to one of their locations for some of the best food around Fairways and Dreams & Altmar Hotel. Also thank you to Sonny's Fishing Center & RV Supplies for the fish cleaning and smoking (even though I forgot to get a picture there 😬).

The crew today chose lakers and they chose right! It was a perfect morning on the water with new personal bests, beautiful sunrise, calm seas, great food and a fun crew. Oh and enough fish to keep us on our toes non stop lol.
