Dirty Ho**er Sport Fishing had an awesome weekend with a bunch of great clients over the course of running 5 trips in 3 days .
We managed to boat about 96 Fish , a mix of Kings , Steelhead, Coho and Lake Trout! Couldn’t tell ya how many more fish we had hooked up that managed to get away!

We had a blast this past weekend chasing those Spring Kings out of Whitehall, the action was great !

The Wind was blowing and the Waves were rocking out of Whitehall yesterday morning , always fun fishing in solid 4 footers with the occasional 5 footers or more , we had a couple brave friends that said they we up for an Adventure, We managed to land 10 out of 15 , let 2 small kings go to grow up for another day.
The Spring King bite is definitely game on , if you want to get out and get in on the action. Give us a call or send a message to get on the schedule, we have a few Saturday afternoons still open , May 30th has both AM and PM available . We also have some good days in June open as well !

Quick afternoon trip for a 3 man limit plus a few for the captain, same program as the morning trip and the same special place in Canadian water.
Bandits, P10s and Rapala’s doing the work , with leads 30’to 40’ behind to boards , best speed was 1.3 to 1.5 in 22 to 24 FOW .
Bob can’t wait to see you guys again soon, we will get you out on a Salmon adventure on Lake Michigan.

4/11/26 AM Trip
Dirty Ho**er Sport Fishing Charters was with Todd Squires and team .
Saturday morning started were we finished off on Friday afternoon and we weren’t impressed with the action so we discussed a possible option with our clients that Required a 16 mile run to a special place in Canadian water and it paid off with a nice 4 man limit , plus a couple for 1st mate Joe Quero !!
We fished 15 to 20 FOW , Bandits, WNC Reapers , Smithwick top 20s did the work 25 to 40 ft behind the boards , best speed was 1.1 to 1.3 .
Interesting event on the way back into Michigan we got chased down by US Border Patrol and checked to make sure we weren’t sneaking any Canadians into the country, was great to see these guys at work protecting our Border, they were very professional no issues.

Dirty Ho**er Sport Fishing Charters
We had a great afternoon trip on Lake Erie out of Bolles Harbor , we fished 22 to 24 FOW off of Stony Point , assorted color Bandits and Rapalas did the work , running 20’ to 38’ leads behind the boards , best speed was 1 to 1.4 SOG .
We pulled a nice 3 man limit plus a few for the Captain.
We got to put Ben on his 1st Walleye as well and he caught the biggest one of the trip.

We couldn’t chase Walleye on Lake Erie as planned due to the Ice blowing in on the entire West side of Michigan Water.
We loaded up and ran to Saint Joe for a try at some Coho , we arrived to find heavy fog blanketing the lake making it a little hard to see , Thankfully Radar not only will see boats but small to pretty lager float Ice Burgs as well.
Ran south towards power plant , definitely some warmer water there, we pulled out a nice 5 man limit on the new boat .
Walleye Rods sure make Coho fun to catch !! Back after the Walleye on Lake Erie next Weekend !!

Well were just getting things ready for spring , I dropped off 20 Reels to Mascot Reel Service for Drag upgrades and general maintenance , I cant wait to hear the sweet sound of screaming drags going with those Angry spring Kings!! and piles of crazy Coho’s in May !!
1st thing will be boat loads of Walleye my favorite way to start the year !!
March and April will be a Walleye extravaganza on Lake Erie your best chance to get that wall hanger !!
We have a few Saturday afternoons and Sundays morning’s left open for Walleye , give me a call or send a message to lock in a spot.
The New Boat is ready to go, nice and warm with fully enclosed pilot house to help keep ya warm. Let’s go Fishing !!

Well 1st fishing trip for the new boat spent 3 days fishing out of Huron Ohio and our last day we went out of Bolles Harbor and I can say with confidence Dirty Ho**er 2.0 is a fishing machine!
Two of us managed to boat about 65 Walleye , unfortunately not a lot of pictures, we were having to much fun catching Walleye, Our best size fish came out of Bolles Harbor fishing the Dumping grounds in Ohio water to get away from the crowd on the state line.
Looking Forward to next weekend as we will be looking to get back on the water chasing them eyes.
Unfortunately still waiting on the DNR to get time for our dockside inspection so we can start running some trips for our customers.

Well after a lot of work getting things ready “Dirty Ho**er 2.0”
has completed Dry Dock inspection yesterday and I’m working on scheduling her dockside inspection and then she’s ready to start running trips, talking to the DNR regional office today they think it may be a week or so before we can pull it off due to Firearm Deer Season starting tomorrow, but hopefully they can find a window of time to knock it out.
But with the current weather conditions and the extended forecast I believe a week of Brawling over in Ohio will be in order to properly break her in properly , should allow me enough time to get the feel for her , believe it’s going be a fishing machine for sure !!
I cant wait to watch those Ninja boards flying back with some big fat Hog Walleye right behind them.
Joe Quero hopefully your boss will give you so time off next week to join the fun , Bob E. says hes ready to go !!
