My Ischia itinerary was less “carefully researched travel guide” and more “sure, why not?”

Hiked to the top of a mountain. Found the tiramisu of my dreams. Watched the sunset from beach bars. Ate pizza I’m still thinking about. Got humbled by a mandatory swim cap at the thermal baths. Bought mystery mud from a man in a speedo at a natural hot spring and painted it all over my body. Hitchhiked around the island on the backs of strangers’ motorbikes.

Basically, I followed every side quest that presented itself.
And somehow those always end up being my favorite parts of traveling.

Save this for Ischia, but maybe rent your own transportation. 🛵🇮🇹

The problem with traveling to Miami is eventually you start behaving like you live in Miami.

One drink becomes five. Dinner becomes an event. And somehow nobody is ever ready to go home.

Come for the beaches. Stay because your friends are terrible influences.
