Hello everyone, whilst it has been some time since we last messaged the devoted people that expressed an interest in the concept of a long-term cruise residency programme, we haven't stopped moving forward with our plans to provide you with a long-term residency-based cruise programme and in fact, we have some momentous news that we want to share with you all.

We will be launching Encore by Cruise Retirement on November 20, 2022!

We decided to dub this iteration Encore due to it being a revitalisation of our initial lifestyle cruise residence programme, and also because we're going to be offering the same lifestyle, though with a different operational model: monthly cabin rental, rather than owner-occupier purchase.

This does a few things for you as a customer:

1. No more "upfront purchase price" starting at $150,000 and upwards. You simply pay a one month bond, and the first month's rental, after which you continue to simply make monthly payments.
2. It allows you a lot more flexibility, especially should there be another outbreak of COVID-19, you can simply travel home or to alternate arrangements without risk of lost financial investment as you would have with an owner-occupier model purchase of a residence.
3. You won't have to attempt to divest yourself of a "real estate" cabin in the future (which are depreciating assets).
4. Once your travel time is finished, you can simply depart without needing to find a buyer for your cabin.

So as you can see there are a number of benefits to this revised model, hence the new name, Encore!

Hi everyone, for those of you that have been following Cruise Retirement for some time, we've received requests from quite a number of people wanting to experience a "try before you buy" arrangement on-board our vessel before committing to moving aboard.

We do understand that purchasing a home is a big thing and buying Off the Plan can be a scary prospect when you're a retiree in particular, so here's what we're going to do.

We're going to offer a range of short cruises for you to "sample our wares" and for the first five months of cruise operations, beginning January 1st 2020, we're going to offer a range of cruises of between 3 and 15 nights so you'll have the opportunity to take an extended guided tour around the ship whilst vacationing on a "traditional cruise".

Now here's the kicker. Those of you that decide to then purchase a Residence within 30 days of taking a cruise with us will have the price they paid for their cruise deducted from their Residence Purchase Price!

Our Try-Buy Cruises brochure will be distributed within two weeks, so ensure you get your booking made if you're interested as we've already sold over 25% of our Residences on-board the Enchanted Explorer, with limited spaces available.

Hey guys, check out these photos of Cruise Retirement exhibiting at the London Cruise Show.

Our Director of Global Sales, Philip Hinkley and a team of representatives attended this fantastic event and managed to score a great position right near the front door at the venue!

We received details from over 150 people interested in purchasing Residences to become Residents on-board the Enchanted Explorer, which is absolutely fantastic!

Thankyou to everyone that attended the event and we look forward to welcoming you on the ship at the end of this year. Not long to go now!
