Our travel became frequent when our child started school and we began arranging vacations around school holiday schedules. Yes, we were sometimes caught in the squeeze between when school ended and camp began and when camp ended and school began! What started out as a means to cope turned into a love of cruising and visiting places as a family. While I'm not sure our child remembers some of these
places or could care less that a birthday or two was spent in the South of France, we were smitten with the travel bug. And yes, I have documented evidence of said child looking uninterested saved of course for future bribery. We've done the strollers on cobblestone streets, associated accoutrements, childcare on cruise ships, hotels, trains, airport delays by days, airport food, luxury hotels, not so luxurious hotels, buses, private and shared transportation, excursions, exploration on our own, dragging my family into just one more pharmacy or grocery store etc. I'm now retired and have since turned that love of travel into a business where I help families and retirees plan and travel to their dream destinations and create unforgettable memories.
