Not every resort is for everyone, and that’s a good thing.

This resort has a way of catering to everyone. It’s expansive, beautiful and open, giving a feeling of privacy.

You’ll find a never-crowded large activity pool when you want to play, with music, a swim up bar and a special lunch being served up pool side every day.

Then at one, there’s always some sort of activity, from making martinis or margaritas to tequila tasting. Join if you want, or skip it, it’s up to you. No pressure, which I loved.

There’s a quiet pool nearby, too, when you just want to relax in peace.

Or do like me, hang out in the shade of your patio, ocean side.

I tend to judge a hotel by its breakfast, and this one was outstanding! Likewise, every dinner we had was wonderful.

This is an all-inclusive adults only resort, so again it’s not for everyone.

And my honest take? It skews a bit on the older side, which my husband really appreciated because it felt quieter. I sometimes like it a little bit livelier.

But the whole resort felt calm, respectful, and genuinely welcoming.

Although they do have nightly shows, and live music at the indoor bar, if you’re looking for loud nightlife, this may not be your place. If you’re looking to exhale… It just might be.
