The wanna be McSister imposters that call themselves the McCousins, had the audacity to issue a dance challenge for John Levengood’s song Werk Ethic, to the originals! We enthusiastically accepted. While their audience was merely Chip, the dog, we went all out and performed in front of 3400 fellow cruisers on the Carnival Sunshine in multiple deck locations. This video is one of the hundreds of our performances. We’ve been invited back by Cruise Director, James Love, to perform on future cruises. Dates TBA.

The McSisters arrived in Charleston last night, a little later than we’d planned! What should have been a little more than a 7 hour trip turned into to a 10-1/2 hour ‘tour’, no thanks to construction road shut downs on our interstate route that detoured us through MANY miles of two lane, South Carolina back roads. Then, as we were finally seeing the light at the end of the long, dark tunnel, we realized that we’d missed our hotel exit! Luckily we’d only gone 3 miles too far, and after a quick loop de loop, we pulled into the hotel parking lot. Sandy went inside to check us in, but quickly came back to the van, laughing hysterically… turns out, I’d entered the address to the wrong hotel in my GPS. So back on the interstate we go, driving right past the scene of our recent loop de loop! We finally made it around midnight last night! After bathing suit alterations and matching t-shirt preparations, we were finally able to get in bed by 2am… But, I was able to herd this crew to the cruise port with time to spare and we are currently lounging beside the pool taking in some highly anticipated sunshine!
