These photos show the transformation of a digital photograph into a stunning mural. As part of their convention in New Orleans in Sept. 2011, the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers installed wallpaper at a local AIDS clinic. The mural here was installed in the reception and waiting area. The original photograph was taken by a local photographer and sent to the printer where it was sharpened and cropped to fit the size of the wall being decorated. It was then shipped from New York to New Orleans and installed. The entire process took less than a week.
