When your “office day” includes a little exploring! 🏛️✨

While I’m in St. Augustine this week, I had the chance to visit the Lightner Museum today, and y’all… this building has some HISTORY!

The museum is housed inside the former Hotel Alcazar, built by Henry Flagler and opened in 1888 during St. Augustine’s Gilded Age. And this wasn’t your average hotel! Guests could enjoy an enormous indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, tennis courts, baths, a grand ballroom, and more. Can you imagine vacationing here in the late 1800s?! 😍

The hotel eventually closed in 1931, and years later, Otto C. Lightner purchased the building to house his massive collection of art, antiques, glass, furniture, and all kinds of unique treasures. The Lightner Museum officially opened in 1948.

This is one of the things I LOVE about travel. You don’t always have to hop on a plane or travel across the world to discover something incredible. Sometimes there is so much history and beauty practically in your own backyard. ❤️

If you’re planning a trip to St. Augustine, definitely put the Lightner Museum on your list. And if you haven’t been in a while, it might be time to go back!

Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean your travel plans have to! 🍂✈️🌎

In fact, some of my FAVORITE trips happen in the fall. Cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, gorgeous scenery…and sometimes your vacation dollars can stretch a little further, too!

So here’s your Monday reminder: use the PTO. Take the trip. Make the memories. ❤️

There is still plenty of 2026 left to go somewhere amazing, and it’s definitely not too early to start planning 2027!

Headed into the “office” this week! ✈️💻

First stop ➡️ St. Augustine to catch up with the boss woman, Sarah, meet with a client, create some new content, talk all things travel, and probably squeeze in a little fun along the way!

Then Wednesday, we’re off to Orlando to meet up with Michelle at EPCOT for the Food & Wine Festival! 🌎🍴🍷

And obviously, I have my priorities straight…

🇨🇦 Poutine in Canada — a MUST.
🇲🇽 Margarita in Mexico — also a must. 😂🍹

Work hard. Travel often. Eat the poutine. 😂

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.
And we remember the courage, compassion, and unity that followed one of our nation’s darkest days.

25 years later, we still remember their names, their stories, and their sacrifice.

May we never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and those who continue to carry the weight of that day.

✈️ Can we stop saving travel for “someday”?

Someday when work slows down.
Someday when the kids are older.
Someday when the timing is perfect.

Here’s the thing… there’s always going to be something.

Take the cruise. Go to Europe. Plan the girls’ trip. Take your parents somewhere they’ve always wanted to go. Celebrate the birthday, the anniversary, the retirement, or go simply because you can. ❤️

Some of the best memories you’ll ever make start with deciding, “Okay, let’s actually do this.”

And you don’t have to figure it all out yourself. That’s where I come in. 😊

Retirement isn’t the end of the adventure… it’s finally having the time to take the BIG ones. 🌎✈️

You’ve spent years working, raising families, building careers, and saying, “One day we’re going to do that.”

Maybe “one day” is finally here. ❤️

Chase the Northern Lights. ❄️
See penguins in Antarctica. 🐧
Take that African safari. 🦁
Ride the Rocky Mountaineer. 🚂
Spend a month exploring Europe. 🇪🇺
Or finally take that epic road trip across America. 🚗

Retirement travel can be adventurous or relaxing, budget-friendly or bucket-list luxury. There’s no right way to do it; just don’t keep putting it off.

You’ve worked hard for this chapter. Now go fill it with passport stamps, incredible experiences, and really great stories. ❤️

There’s something extra special about waking up to a review like this; especially on your birthday!

I recently had the pleasure of helping this wonderful group plan their office cruise, and they were truly such a great group of clients to work with from start to finish. Knowing they had an amazing experience and felt taken care of throughout the entire process means more than they probably realize.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

If there is one thing I’ve learned from being in the travel industry, it’s that we ALL need a break every once in a while. ❤️

We spend so much of our lives working, taking care of our families, running errands, keeping up with schedules, and doing all of the things that have to be done. Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to step away from it all and make some memories.

And what better day to talk about that than Labor Day? 😉

Whether your perfect vacation is sitting on a beach doing absolutely NOTHING 🏝️, hopping on a cruise ship 🚢, wandering through castles in Europe 🏰, exploring Alaska 🏔️, taking the kids to Disney 🏰, or finally checking something off that bucket list you’ve been talking about for years… GO.

Take the vacation.

Use the PTO.

Make the memories.

There will always be more work waiting when you get home. ❤️

And when you’re ready to start planning, you know where to find me! I’ll happily do the research, compare the options, keep track of all the little details, and help you put together a trip that fits YOU.
