Becoming rail-certified for Alaska requires testing on the entire state rail system — routes, stops, timing, and logistics. I’ve done that.

Seeing Alaska by rail is truly unbelievable.
You travel deep into the interior, stop in small towns, get off and stay overnight, then hop back on another train and continue your journey.

✨ My favorite stop?
At the base of Denali — breathtaking scenery, wildlife, and that true “this is Alaska” feeling.

Rail is one of the most immersive ways to experience Alaska, but it requires advance planning to do it right.
