If you will be traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas with your dog, I encourage you to consider booking with them. They are conveniently located near the U of A in South Fayetteville, and there is plenty of green space for potty duties, as well as nearby restaurants with dog-friendly patios.

Moxy has something happening in the lobby almost every night of the week with happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, and a killer smoked old-fashioned (not on the happy hour menu). Don’t be surprised if you run into me listening to music and enjoying a drink.

Turn off your lights!

LIGHTS OUT ARKANSAS - huge bird migration expected tonight.

Tonight could end up being one of the biggest bird migration nights of the year with nearly 400 million birds in flight.

With the upper level winds turning to the southwest, many migrant birds will take advantage of this.

Notice the glowing hotspot across the south central U.S. (includes Arkansas).

You can turn off your exterior home lights to aid the birds on their flight.

BREAKING: The Trump administration just issued an exemption to the Endangered Species Act (ESA), putting threatened and endangered species in the Gulf of Mexico on a fast track to extinction.

To clear the way for oil and gas drilling, the U.S. government removed the safety net for species on the brink of extinction.

Now, animals like giant manta rays, hawksbill sea turtles, and Rice’s whales are at risk.

Eureka Springs, AR. is a GREAT place to visit with your dog!

Henri and I went to Eureka Springs to stay the night at America's Most Haunted Hotel, and check out the ghost tour. We also did a little shopping and eating.

Help your dog through New Years Eve with these tips.

The day before (that’s TODAY!)…

🎆 Find a space in your home that can be darkened with low light and make it comfy
🎆 Be sure any anxiety meds or calming aides are refilled/restocked
🎆 Prep enrichment toys such as puzzles, Kongs, or Topples with extra special snacks like boiled chicken, yogurt, or peanut butter, and freeze

New Year’s Eve…

🎆 Take a sniffari walk (long leash, dog led) before dark
🎆 Keep your dog inside during displays or as time approaches midnight
🎆 10 minutes before midnight, take the toys from the freezer and let your pup get started in the cozy space you prepped
🎆 Play white noise or music (research has shown dogs prefer reggae and soft rock) to mask the booms
