Family vacations are making a comeback — and I LOVE to see it. ✈️❤️
More families are choosing to travel together — grandparents, parents, kids, cousins, everybody — because the memories you make together are worth more than another “we need to get together soon” conversation. 😂
But here’s the part people don’t always think about: multi-generational trips take planning.
A few things I tell my clients:
✈️ Start early. For larger family trips, 6–12 months gives you more options for dates, rooms, and pricing.
🌴 Pick a destination that works for everybody. The kids may want activities, Grandma may want to relax, and somebody in the group is definitely trying to find the bar. 😂 The right destination gives everyone options.
💰 Have the money conversation BEFORE booking. Budget, room preferences, excursions, expectations — talk about it upfront so nobody is shocked later.
The goal isn’t for everyone to do everything together. The goal is to create a trip where everyone can enjoy themselves and still make memories as a family.
