I live in a house with three other women, two cats, and a dog.

We routinely have friends staying in the driveway, but our core community is centered around a beautiful feminine and collaborate space.

Yesterday I took and out to climb and we ended up doing a tutorial on jugging and shooting on a fixed line.

It is so unbelievably fun to live with your friends.

One of the fun parts about hanging out with Mary is that people just kind of show up to start talking to her, giving me ample opportunity to sneak away and take photos 👀

Just wrapped up a week of working behind the scenes for a big ass photo/video shoot and I am SO glad to be done.

I need some desert medicine. Hopefully going into the creek next week.

See ya hooligans out there ✌🏻

What are your values?

Do you value free time? Do you value hard work? Do you value community? Or do you value solitude? How about both?

I’ve been thinking about values recently.

I honestly believe that I wasn’t put here on this earth to waste my time doing things I don’t want to do.

I don’t mean I don’t want to do hard or challenging or boring things, I just mean that if we really only get one shot at this life, then why are we spending it doing things that don’t bring us alive?

I value play, challenge, and adventure almost above all else. To say it out loud feels juvenile, but I’d like to know what your values are?

If you climb, why? If not, why?

If you live in a van, why? If not, why?

And finally, what are you core values that have lead you to this place?

There’s no right or wrong answer, I’m just curious.

One of the lessons from living on the road for years was this: You can work hard, live hard, and play hard, but you can only pick two at a time.

I lived hard and played hard for 3+ years, but I missed working hard.

It sucks to live hard and work hard, so I decided to live easy so I could work hard and play hard.

I miss the van a lot, but she’s still a part of my life. I used to think I’d sell her and get something else, but now I think I’ll just drive her until one day she won’t drive anymore.

Then I’ll probably just put her up on blocks and use her as a guest bedroom.

Indian Creek Bingo is a go! Find your bingo cards at the Super Crack, Beef Basin, and Creek Pasture message boards 💕

Welcome to Indian Creek Bingo!

The game works like any regular bingo game. See or experience any one of the items on the card and you get to mark it off. We’re playing blackout, so the first person to fill out their entire card wins the GRAND PRIZE.

CLARIFICATIONS
Each thing on this list has to be something you see someone else doing without prompting them. For example, you have to see someone climbing shirtless in an offwidth, you cannot yourself decide to climb shirtless in an offwidth to get the points.

The only exceptions to this rule are the items on the cards that could happen to you accidentally, like cleaning your route in the dark, or getting a rope stuck, or doing an accidental FA. You can accidentally forget your shoes or harness in the car and claim the point, you cannot purposefully leave your shoes or harness in the car to collect the point. Make sense?

This game is on the honor system, but you have to have one or more witnesses if you claim to have seen something on the card happen. When you see someone taping to size, or hear someone claim “It’s just not my size” on lead, have your witness sign their name on your space to confirm it.

Once you get a full blackout please take a photo of your bingo card and message me on Instagram () to collect your prize! :)

The first person to get a blackout and message me is the winner. Messages are time stamped so I will be going off of that to determine the winner.

GRAND PRIZE - ???? Win to find out!

SECOND PLACE - One FREE night of camping at Creek Pasture or The Super Bowl ($15!)

THIRD PLACE - WAX BOX @ Indian Creek

I truly don’t understand why offwidth bouldering isn’t more popular. It is SO. MUCH. FUN.

I feel like a kid, exploring the worlds largest jungle gym.

Offwidth Mike and I spend almost all of our free time exploring the dark nooks and crannies of the Moab desert. So far we’ve put up almost 10 new boulder problems, and we keep discovering weird and wide cracks we want to go back and establish.

Most of what we’re putting up is in the V0-V2 grade. Which sometimes feels like all we’re doing is grabbing the low hanging fruit. But recently I’ve begun to think of it as if we’re making the sport more accessible to folks who might not be into offwidth bouldering.

If you only ever try invert offwidths that are in the V5+ range, you’re never going to enjoy it.

Hopefully I’ll have an opportunity to convert a few people to the genuinely fun, challenging, and creative sport of invert offwidth bouldering 💪🏻

The few we did yesterday were high quality, fun, and in a stellar location. What is more fun than that!?

Hey friends 👋🏻

One of the symptoms of my depression is being unable to respond to messages or to make plans. I might see you, I might not. Please let me come to you, slowly. It might take a while.

Having thousands of people trying to get my attention all at once is very draining. So, it’s not you, it’s me. And I’m trying my best.

I’ll be around.

This is my face when I see people climbing on wet sandstone 🤨

Don’t climb on wet sandstone my friends! How do you know if the sandstone is wet? If you walk to the base of the climb and the sand below your feet is wet, then you shouldn’t climb.

There are a lot of conflicting anecdotal ideas about how to tell when the rock is dry enough to climb. HOWEVER, according to , you should wait 24-48 hours after it rains before you start climbing.

This almost NEVER means it is dry enough to climb the day after it rains.

Climbing on wet sandstone can permanently damage the rock, and can (allegedly) make your cams less effective as well.

It is not worth destroying a climb or potentially injuring yourself just to get a few pitches in. Take the forced rest day and stretch or something, your tendons and skin probably need the break anyway.
