We're Renny + Benny! We're your friendly internet adventurers + explorers encouraging you to pursue exploration, movement, beauty, curiosity, and to revel in all the magnificent convolutions of our wonderful world. We’re not married (contrary to popular belief!), but we’ve been together for 14 years filled with incredible growth and exploration, through mountains and valleys, geographically and emotionally . We started as English teachers living in Korea, became travel bloggers, branched out into content creation, and opened our own glampground in the Mojave Desert (), all the while traveling, learning and growing. Our ethos is simple: live YOUR LIFE on YOUR TERMS. That means to organize your life in a way that works for YOU, and to make choices in your life based on PASSION. The "Television of Nomads" is the natural wonder that unfolds in front of our eyes when we go out into the world. It’s the alternative to sitting at home, eyes glued to a screen in a box of a building. Our mission, for ourselves and to inspire in others, is to break out of the box, toss out the script, and instead find ways to see the world and experience life that speak most authentically to ourselves and the planet.

Whole Lotta Love,
Renny & Benny

"T E L E V I S I O N O F N O M A D S"

"One of the young Berbers who had helped in our sand baptism gestures to the sky. 'You, at home in America, you have T.V.’s to watch, television…artificial, right? But this…' he says, spreading his arms at the white moon, the black screen so clustered with constellations, with shooting stars, millions of light-years trapped in one singular moment of time...

'this is the television of nomads.'"

James Baldwin’s words have been on my mind lately.

I think about how much of the world seems to be running on fear right now. Fear of each other. Fear of losing control. Fear of what’s different. And how easily that fear turns into anger, division, and eventually something much harder to undo.

I don’t think we can just tell people to stop being afraid. Fear has its role. But I do think we have to be careful about what we do with that fear.
Because we’re all capable of feeding it.

It’s easy to get caught up in the constant noise, to start seeing people as sides instead of people, to let the things happening around us make us feel like there’s no point in trying.
But I don’t want to live that way.

I want to remember that the person I disagree with is still a person. That someone can be different from me and still deserve compassion. That I can care about what’s happening in the world without letting it turn me into someone I don’t want to be.

And I think that’s part of what Baldwin was getting at. We’re not as separate as we like to believe. What we do, what we tolerate, what we choose to bring into the world—it all matters.

None of us gets to control everything. But we do get to decide what we contribute.

Some days that feels like a small thing. Other days, it feels like the most important thing we can do.

So I’m trying to pay more attention to what I’m feeding. The fear, the anger, the hopelessness—or the part of me that still believes we can do better.

I don’t have some profound answer for how to fix the world. I just know I don’t want to become numb to it.

And I don’t want fear to be the thing that decides who I am.

$29.99 + $10.99 sashimi add on for ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT sushi lunch at Aburi Sushi Buena Park?! And dinner is only $5 more!!

Definitely the best AYCE sushi spot I’ve been to, and this price is just too good to pass up. I’m so impressed we could even get Salmon belly, Yellowtail Belly, and Uni! The sashimi option is also so worth it, giving you access to fresh, good quality fish with less rice (so you can eat even more 🤗). We absolutely STUFFED our faces 😭

The CRAFT + MAIN® Marina pivot semi frameless shower door is a thing of beauty! 🖤

I wanted the shower to feel open and airy without sacrificing the impact of a beautiful, substantial door, and the Marina absolutely nailed it. The 3/8” heavy clear tempered glass feels so luxe, while the minimal semi-frameless design keeps the focus on the shower itself (and all that gorgeous microcement, courtesy of hours of my work, thank ya very much 😉😜!).

The matte black hardware ties in perfectly with the rest of the bathroom and I LOVE how clean and architectural it looks.

And because I’m all about making things beautiful and functional, the glass has H2OFF Clean Glass Technology to help resist buildup and make it easier to keep clean.

Unboxing our Velora Tomar sconce in Terra Red with clear globes 💡

The earthy red against the minty green is giving me flutters!

I’m enamored with how solid their fixtures feel. Absolutely gorgeous. Excited to get this room together!
