I just got back from a personal trip to Walt Disney World and on Disney Cruise Line! I experienced and learned a LOT. I am in the process of updating all my itineraries for my travelers with even more detailed advice, and I am working on some good content for you!

Let me say this today, though, because it's burning on my mind: Disney Cruise Line offers an unforgettable experience, perfect for families looking to make lasting memories with top-notch service, beautiful and clean ships, exciting entertainment, and world-class amenities. I thought some snowed-in families might like some recommendations today for what to watch on Disney+ while dreaming of their next Disney Parks or Disney Cruise Line vacation!

The Imagineering Story is a fabulous six-episode series featuring the creativity, science, and vision behind the Disney parks and several favorite Disney rides, all the way from Walt Disney's vision to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I LOVE this series so much and recommend it often to my travelers!

Fan-favorite Moana appears in a full spectacular live musical aboard the Disney Treasure, in staterooms at the Disney Seas the Adventure show on the Disney Wish, and in her Epcot walk-through attraction Journey of Water. You can often meet her around Walt Disney World!

If you're sailing aboard the Disney Treasure or the Disney Wish, or visiting Disneyland in California, enjoy Marvel movies before you go.

The Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom shows how the animals are housed and taken care of in Disney's Animal Kingdom and at the Seas in Epcot.

Toy Story is featured in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios and at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin! You can also meet the characters aboard some Disney Cruise Line ships and visit Andy's Room aboard the Dream, Magic and Wonder cruise ships.

The Sunrise series features the sun rising in Disney parks and is very relaxing!

To enjoy Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park and at Hollywood Studios, enjoy watching modern Star Wars movies (starting with The Force Awakens). The Mandalorian also makes an appearance in Galaxy's Edge!

Lastly, of course, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse and Mickey Mouse shorts series are fabulous. This new animation style can be seen in Hollywood Studios and aboard the Disney Wish and Treasure.

This pool, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort, is one of my favorite spots at Walt Disney World! There is a waterslide, lazy river, and a sandy beach perfect for playing. It's incredible, but it's about to undergo a lengthy refurbishment after the holidays. Keeping up with refurbishments like this one, and informing my clients of the closures that will affect their trip, is part of my job so we don't have any unhappy surprises!

Discounts have been released for Walt Disney World, new itineraries have been opened for sale on Disney Cruise Line for late 2025 and early 2026, updates to the Walt Disney World Lightning Lane system, the official opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure at WDW, and more!!

Remember, a $200 deposit reserves your Walt Disney World resort and ticket package, and the early bird always gets the worm with Disney! There are some unreal options on Disney Cruise Line too - I'm looking at Southern Caribbean itineraries for Fall 2025 for myself! Let's talk!!

Disney is making some big changes to Genie+ and the Individual Lightning Lanes starting in July! Deep breaths, travelers! Like always, I am already learning a LOT as I type this and will have a plan in place soon! The Small World Big Fun agents and I are true experts and there is no one better equipped to help you navigate the changes.

The only way to get to Disney’s beautiful private island, Castaway Cay, is on a Disney Cruise! Once you’re on the island, you can enjoy the family beach, water slides, the kids’ club, the adults only beach, included food, special drinks, bike rentals, snorkeling, and more. It’s amazing!!

These Friendship Boats connect Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas, and the Swan and Dolphin resorts to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios!
