Day 8: One last Toronto adventure!

We wrapped up our trip at the Toronto Zoo, exploring great exhibits, seeing amazing animals, and checking out all the exciting improvements they're making throughout the park.

Of course, we couldn't leave Canada without trying the infamous BeaverTail for dessert... and it absolutely lived up to the hype!

A wild and delicious way to end an unforgettable trip!

Day 7 felt like stepping into a storybook!

We hopped on trains, subways and streetcars to explore Toronto before finding ourselves at Casa Loma, a real-life Rapunzel castle complete with a circular tower we climbed all the way to the top!

We wrapped up the day in the Distillery District with more Deutschland World Cup futbol and one last round of shopping. 🇩🇪⚽🛍️

Not a bad way to spend a day in Toronto!

Day 6 Island Vibes + City Lights

We spent the day on the islands paddleboarding, kayaking, biking, and making memories we'll be talking about for years to come. It was the perfect escape from the city while still having the Toronto skyline as our backdrop.

We wrapped up our final full day at Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto's version of Times Square, soaking in the lights and energy of the city

Day 5: Toronto Shopping

Started the day with some pickup soccer at Nathan Phillips Square before hitting CF Toronto Eaton Centre... and wow, that mall just keeps going and going!

Toronto has fully embraced the World Cup. Everywhere we looked there were soccer fans, jerseys, and World Cup celebrations happening all over the city.

The plan was Yonge-Dundas Square, but the girls sent us on a jELLY CAT hunt that added a whole lot of extra steps and eventually landed us in the Distillery District a few days earlier than planned.

We wrapped up the night with dinner at The Pump House in Port Credit and called it another successful 20,000+ step day!

Day 4: Another 21,000+ steps and every single one was worth it!

We kicked off the day at the Hockey Hall of Fame, where even non-hockey fans can appreciate the history, memorabilia, and of course seeing the Stanley Cup up close.

For lunch, we ventured into Toronto's famous PATH system and promptly got a little lost... but honestly, that's part of the experience! What an incredible concept—miles of spotless underground walkways connecting downtown and letting you explore the city without ever battling traffic or the weather.

Next up was the iconic CN Tower with those unbelievable views of the city and Lake Ontario.

A stop at Steam Whistle Brewery was the perfect reset, complete with great beer and historic train displays that made the setting just as cool as the drinks.

And then we wrapped up the night by checking another ballpark off our list as the Blue Jays took on the Astros at Rogers Centre. The atmosphere was fantastic, the fans were into every pitch, and there's just something special about experiencing baseball in a new city.

Day 3: A slower day with beautiful views

After two busy, high-energy days, we kept today a little lighter and spent time walking around the gorgeous Scarborough Bluffs. The views of Lake Ontario and the cliffs were absolutely worth it!

We ended the day with a delicious Italian dinner and, of course, ice cream at Marble Slab—because vacation calories don’t count. 😉

Day 2: What an unforgettable day! 🇩🇪⚽

Today was all about the FIFA World Cup, and it exceeded every expectation!

We joined thousands of Germany supporters at Amsterdam Brewhouse before marching together through the streets of Toronto to BMO Field. The energy was absolutely electric—chants, songs, waving flags, and fans from around the world all coming together for the beautiful game.
BMO Field may have one of the most scenic settings in soccer, with breathtaking views of Lake Ontario surrounding the stadium. 🌊🏟️

Then came the finish... Germany found the back of the net in the final moments of stoppage time to defeat Ivory Coast, and the stadium absolutely ERUPTED! The celebration was unlike anything we've ever experienced!

We capped off another incredible day with dinner at St. Lawrence Market before calling it a night... and yes, another 20,000+ steps in the books! 👟😂
