As a travel company, we recognize sustainable travel is of the upmost importance. We aim to support the local communities that we visit, we are intentional with the accommodations, restaurants, and activities we support. We offer shared accommodations and shuttle transportation to reduce our carbon footprint.

As previous hoteliers we know how wasteful and how much impact travel as on the local communities and environment. we are intentional and aware of how we travel and love to talk more about this.

Guatemala has been soooo good to us, we’ve loved being able to call this place home for six months!

We spent some time this weekend exploring our friends beautiful Finca and coffee farm. We can’t wait for them to build their cabins and open their finca to the public for some really special experiences.

This is award winning coffee, and we can attest it’s delicious! What makes it even more special is it’s organic and centered around forest restoration.

We love to support local businesses who love and care about the environment.

We feel that it’s important to be intentional with how you travel…what does that mean?

For us it’s learning about the Indigenous People of the land we are visiting. It’s supporting the locals, it’s learning about other cultures and how to be respectful.

This tour was of a Pueblo just outside of Antigua called San Antonio. Many of the Maya weavers live here. They even have a small museum that was founded by a Maya family (and still owned by the same family!).

At this textile museum you learn about the history of the beautiful textiles and the importance of them by the Maya People themselves.

So grateful to learn from the Indigenous peoples about their culture.

Always remember to ask for approval before taking photos of anyone! ❤️

We are so excited to have our first El Salvador trip booked!

The funny part about running a business is that it often looks different then you expected. What we are learning is we have to be adaptable and pivot when needed.

Our first group is actually one that found us! We got to plan and customize this beach trip with a travel friend, for a special milestone birthday! Better yet we get to be on the ground with them.
