The Flint Energies mural is officially underway! 🎊 Congratulations to our Downtown Development Authority for taking the initiative to apply for this amazing opportunity and for being selected to help put our community on the mural map! 🥰

This beautiful addition will not only brighten our downtown but also showcase the pride, creativity, and spirit of our community. We can’t wait to watch it come to life and become a destination for residents and visitors alike! ❤️ Mural Artist Chris Johnson and associate are hard at work!

Tomorrow (Tuesday), Wednesday, and Friday (June 2nd, 3rd, and 5th), there are going to be some very special programs at the library. These Travel Trunk programs each take a look at a topic in Georgia's recent (the past 30-50 years) history.

These programs are about Georgia history during the 1970s-1990s. The content of the programs and the value of the items to be displayed may be better suited to older children (over age 8) and adults.
