Plenty to do in the City of Monticello, this weekend. Monticello Market, Downtown gets underway at 10:00am. Jeep Show, vendor booths, food trucks, bounce houses, ice cream and so much more in downtown Monticello. Visit the museum and see the wonderful history of Monticello and Wayne County. Make a stop at the City Pool Hall and get one, maybe two or three of the states best burgers according to the Food Network. Stop by Main Street Books in downtown Monticello for all your reading needs.

Check out the Quilt Show of the Little Mountains at The Aspire Center. Lots of beautiful pieces of art. Also lots of crafts for sale at the Aspire Center for people of all ages. Entry is only $5.00 and is well worth it.

Maybe it's time to hit the course and play some golf at the Monticello Country Club. Enjoy the most beautiful 9 hole course in the Lake Cumberland area. No tee times needed.

The lake is calling and Conley Bottom Resort and Safe Harbor Beaver Creek always answers. Whether it's ice cream on the dock or boat rides on beautiful Lake Cumberland, we have what you need in Monticello and Wayne County.

We are proud to announce that Kentucky's own Alex Miller will be opening for our headliner on Saturday October 24th at the Monticello-Wayne County Memorial Park for the 2026 Lake Cumberland Fall Fest. Alex Miller is a rising country music artist and singer-songwriter hailing from Lancaster, Kentucky. Alex first gained national fame as a standout contestant on Season 19 of American Idol, where he won over audiences with his traditional, neo-traditional country sound and deep love for classic country music. Known for his bright, energetic personality and rich vocals, his music pays homage to traditional country icons like Hank Williams, Brooks & Dunn, and George Strait. His songs often reflect small-town life, agricultural roots, and classic storytelling. Catch Alex on the stage Saturday October 24th for the Lake Cumberland Fall Fest.

Rapid Transit delivers live sets centered around upbeat classic rock, country-rock, and crowd-pleasing cover hits. Our next artist to announce is making his Fall Fest debut. Cody Lee Meece is from the Lake Cumberland area. He is an independent singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist from Somerset, Kentucky. He is a prominent figure in the regional regional music scene, playing both solo and with his backing band, The Poor Excuses. He has earned recognition across the region, including winning "Best Album" at the Lexington Music Awards for The Break, as well as Appalachian Arts & Entertainment Awards for "Best Guitarist" and "Best Country Band". Make plans to attend the Lake Cumberland Fall Fest on Friday October 23rd and welcome Cody Lee Meece to the stage. Hope to see you there.
