Yesterday we watched the Hall of Famer Walk, had lunch at Raising Canes, and toured the Football Hall of Fame with some shenanigans along the way. Then we went to downtown Kent which was such a cute town for dinner.

Skagway was another favorite stop. We took the White Pass Yukon Railway from Skagway to Fraser, BC that follows the path people took during the Klondike Gold Rush. Once we reached Fraser we transferred to a bus to ride back along the Klondike Highway. I definitely recommend this!! After walking around Skagway, we had a delicious seafood lunch and headed back to the ship.

Sitka was on of our favorite stops. We walked around town, took a boat tour and saw starfish, bald eagles, and a whale named Patches. We had a seafood lunch of King crab, Snow crab, Dungeness Crab, & shrimp. It was sooooo good!!

Our third day started off watching Poppy “skydive” in the iFLY tunnel, flow rider for the kids and then stopping at Icy Strait Point. At Icy Strait some of us took the gondola up Hoonah mountain. Back down the mountain Mark & Lydia skipped stones on the beach.

The first full day of our Alaskan cruise was spent at sea. Some of us took part in the Behind the Waves tour which is a 2 hour tour that goes to parts of the ship not usually seen by travelers including the bridge, laundry, galley, engine control room, & more. On Sunday we docked in Ketchikan where we walked downtown and had a fresh fish & chowder lunch.

We flew out of Charlotte to Vancouver where we boarded the ship. We had a slight delay in leaving the port due to high tide but once we left the view was beautiful. Lydia, however, wasted no time in riding the flow rider. Stay tuned for Day 2!

Our last day was spent sleeping in, eating beignets (so good with caramel), & shopping at Disney Springs.

Our last park day was spent at Animal Kingdom (Caleb’s favorite park). Kids started off with another donut and Caleb tried to give the squirrel some sprinkles. We saw lots of animals, rode our favorite rides, saw the new Zootopia show, and had lunch with some characters.
