These beautiful and historic waterfront homes are part of the Nyhavn district, located in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. ❤️ The homes were built in the late 1600s and early 1700s when the area was used by fisherman and merchants shipping their goods from the ocean all the way to Kongens Nytorv (King’s Square.) 🎣⛴ Today, the small waterway is home to a sort of floating museum, with quite a few historical ships on display!

Within minutes of Nyhavn are some of Copenhagen’s most famous landmarks including Amalienborg Palace (the home of the Danish Royal family,) the incredible Frederik’s Church, and the Kastellet (Citadel) fortress! 🏰⛪️ Copenhagen itself is located less than an hour from Malmö, Sweden, which is accessible by car 🇸🇪🚗

Nyhavn was also the home of the famous author Hans Christian Andersen for several decades. It was there that he wrote several of his most famous stories, including “The Snow Queen,” which served as inspiration for Disney’s “Frozen.” 📖❄️

Have you seen this castle before?? A MUST-SEE in Switzerland! Exploring Chillon Castle with the kids felt like stepping into a fairytale! 🏰✨ From wandering the ancient halls to imagining knights and princesses, it was the perfect mix of history and adventure. The little ones loved the hidden passageways and breathtaking lake views. A reminder that simple moments like these—where learning meets fun—create memories to last a lifetime. 💛

🐉✨ Tucked away in Yellowstone is one of the coolest hidden gems—Dragon’s Mouth Spring. It growls, steams, and looks just like a dragon breathing fire! 🔥 My kids thought it was straight out of a storybook and didn’t want to leave. Definitely an underrated stop that deserves more love! 💛

If you’re visiting Grand Teton National Park with kids, this spot is a must. Easy walk, plenty of space to explore, and a view that feels straight out of a painting. Sunset is the perfect time to go—peaceful, quiet, and unforgettable. 🏔️💛

✨ Stepping back in time on Mormon Row ✨ Nestled in Grand Teton National Park, these historic barns tell stories of simple living, hard work, and breathtaking views that never get old. The kids loved running through the open fields while we soaked in those iconic mountain peaks. 🏔️
