Jeff's (our lead guide) snowcoach guiding notes Dec. 2021: 7:03AM, 11 souls on onboard for Canyon/Hayden run out of West Yellow. First view in Christmas Tree Park. Ranger didn't pack last eve, road with +4" fresh overnight with some footage drifts. Lockers off for now, but Hayden? LPT's set at Front 9 PSI Backs 12 PSI. Low cieling, poor visible w/ heavy snowfall. Comm check good. We're going in.

An independent grizzly bear 4-ling having just emerged from her first successful winter long solo denning, without mom. Walks along the bank of Mary Bay at Yellowstone Lake. Shortly after having her first bath since the year before.
