Toddlers don’t miss the magic. They just find it differently.

Our first night at Disney, we made s’mores around the fire pit at the Poly. Lagoon glowing in front of us. Kids fed and happy and easy. Everything just… worked.

I remember thinking — this is what it’s supposed to feel like.

The next day, my 2.5-year-old walked past the carousel and didn’t give it a second glance.

She found the balls on the fence.

One by one, her little hand patted every single one — completely unbothered, completely in her own world, completely magic. 🥹

Disney wasn’t made for perfect. It was made for this. For the s’mores and the slow moments and the toddler who finds joy in a fence.

The one thing every parent forgets to pack for Disney World with a toddler 👇

Florida heat is not something you can prepare for until you’re actually standing in it — and a hot overheated toddler in a stroller does not care that you planned this trip for two years.

A small clip-on stroller fan changes everything.

I thought I was planning a fun Disney trip. I didn’t realize I was creating a memory she’ll carry her whole life. 💛

Frozen runs our house. Anna and Elsa every single day without fail. Bath time concerts, living room twirling, the whole thing.

She was so excited to meet them at EPCOT. Bouncing through the park, couldn’t wait.

But when she actually walked in and saw Elsa standing right there in front of her — all that excitement just softened into something quieter.

She went still. Starstruck. Like the reality of the moment was bigger than anything she had pictured in her little mind.

And I stood there watching her face and completely fell apart.

Because I had watched her love Elsa from our couch for months. And seeing her actually IN that moment — realizing it was real — was so much more meaningful than I ever anticipated.

I thought I knew what I was signing up for when I planned this trip.

I had no idea.

That feeling — that’s why I became a travel advisor. That’s what I want for every single family I work with.
