Congratulations to Parker for finding the largest shark tooth in our First Annual Shark Tooth Hunting Tournament! Just under 4 inches🔥

And a huge congratulations to Ali for finding the most shark teeth, with an impressive 461 teeth collected!

Both winners will receive choice of $500 gift certificates or cash payments that will be mailed out today.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made our first tournament such a success. We had a great time, saw some incredible finds, and are already looking forward to next year’s event!

July through October are my favorite negative tides of the year. Why?

It’s hurricane season, which means increased wave action, stronger tidal currents, and more onshore flow from storms in the Atlantic. All of that energy helps churn up the beach and uncover fresh shark teeth, fossils, and other treasures that have been buried beneath the sand.

These special King Tide Charters are 5 hours long. that is five hours on the beach, not including your boat ride like other drop off services. As always, you will have somebody on the beach to help assist you. 

Reservations are already starting to come in, and I’m receiving a lot of calls about upcoming dates. If you’ve been thinking about joining a charter, don’t wait too long—these spots tend to fill quickly.

Sunset Harbor Cruises are 2 hours and begin 2 hours before sunset.
Dolphin Watching Tours are 3 hours and available throughout the day.

Pricing:
Sunset Harbor Cruise: $400 flat rate
Dolphin Watching Tour: $450 flat rate

If a crab is carrying a shark tooth around, that little guy has already done the hard work of finding it. Following him might lead you straight to the motherlode. What would you do?

Of course, knowing crabs, he’d probably march you 50 yards in the wrong direction, disappear into a hole, and leave you questioning all your life choices while he sits underground guarding a tiny 1-inch tooth. 😂

Option #1 gets you one shark tooth.

Option #2 has the potential for a whole pile of shark teeth… assuming the crab isn’t running a highly sophisticated fossil-hunting scam.

My money is on the crab being the most successful shark tooth hunter on the beach. 🦀🦈🦷🤣

Alright everyone, I’ll be posting the next round of lunar/king tide dates for July within the next couple of days.

Out of concern and care for our clients, if we see you arrive for a charter without an adequate amount of water or hydration, we’ll make a stop at the general store at the marina so you can stock up before heading out.

Spending hours in the sun and heat can quickly lead to dehydration, and your safety and comfort are important to us. We strongly recommend bringing plenty of water, sunscreen, and any other essentials you may need to enjoy your day on the water. A little preparation goes a long way toward making your adventure both safe and enjoyable.
