I like to remind my husband that there are work trips… and then there are vacations. 😆

Lately, I’ve been on some amazing work trips—resort tours, site inspections, supplier meetings, and gathering information for my clients.

But last week? Last week was a vacation. 🎉🙌

It included birthday celebrations, pool days, good friends, lots and lots of laughs, spa treatments, watching Mexico win their first World Cup match, and some much-needed alone time with Dave.

It also included me missing out on a day of fun thanks to a little tummy bug. 🤦‍♀️

Most importantly, I did my best to leave my phone in the room, stop evaluating every detail, and simply enjoy the moment.

Because sometimes the best part of travel isn’t the resort or even the destination…

It’s the memories you make with the people who matter most. ❤️🌴

🌺 Hawaii isn’t just one destination…

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is people saying they’re “going to Hawaii.”

But which island?

Each one has its own personality.

🌴 Oahu – beaches, culture, history, and the energy of Waikiki.

🌺 Maui – stunning scenery, great resorts, and a favorite for anniversaries and honeymoons.

🌿 Kauai – lush landscapes, waterfalls, and outdoor adventure.

🌋 The Big Island – volcanoes, black sand beaches, and experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

That’s why one of the first questions I ask clients is what kind of Hawaii experience are you looking for?

Just tried my first nonstop flight from Tulsa to Cancun, and I have to say… I’m impressed! ✈️🌴

The new Tulsa terminal was clean, modern, and incredibly easy to navigate.

The best part? We boarded in Tulsa and about 2½ hours later we were landing in Cancun. No layovers, no rushing through another airport, and more time enjoying vacation.

It was also a great savings compared to many of the flight options I typically see from surrounding airports. Saving both time and money is always a win!

Safe to say I’ll be taking advantage of this route again. ☀️🍹

While I’m busy enjoying Mexico, my clients and friends are off creating memories of their own all over the world. 🌎✈️

A friend recently sent me this collage from her very first solo adventure, and I couldn’t help but smile.

From scenic desert roads and hiking trails to sunsets, baseball, and a little poolside relaxation, she’s been soaking up every moment and proving that sometimes the best adventures happen when we step outside our comfort zones.
